I used to have a pet bird before... and he hand fed as a chick. Thus, he was NOT at all scared of humans. When we bonded, he didnt like leaving my shoulder to the point that the only time hes in a cage is when i am in school.
When im home, i open the cage and NEVER close it... till the next day. My bird would fly out and just hang out with me... even when i sleep (he would sleep on my chest).
Then eventually i bought 3 more birds... and while they were all still alive, my room became.very noisy bec i also let all 4 of them out when im home XD
They love roosting on my hair actually. I was actually scared id wake up with bird eggs on my head XD

Just donât listen to him when he said pet them under the wing, you should definitely not pet them anywhere but the head

My Fren Fred the Lutino Cockatiel used to sit on my keyboard and help me type and love to sit on my shoulder so I can scritch him.

Hi can one ppl tell me how to train a not trained bird bc i bought one for my birthday and i tried everything to make it bond with me

For some reason my bird doesnât let me give her head scratches. Does it have something to do with what type of bond I have with my bird? đ§
Maybe, but the bird probably doesnt like head scratches from fingers

Mine loves his head rubbed but I can only use my right hand.
I used my nose to give my female bird head scratches and she loved it.
Keep in mind that fingers are like claws for a bird. If your bird doesn't bite you you should try to use your nose too. You will also have much more fun because cuddling will get much more intense by using your nose.

My birds dont even go in the cage they only go to sleep otherwise there walking around the whole house
My bird really doesnât want toys though
probably because its not good enough give it like a moving jingle thing
We can use treats for train but our birds dont take treats
Try in the morning.. if they are full they won't go for treats
