I'm going to have to agree with Josh on the Absolute Wilderness freeze-dried meals, they are the best ones on the market, better than mountain house and all that other B.S. the only downside I'm a big guy about Josh's size may be a little thicker at 298 lb a kitty two of these but to save money I do what he does and bring out some extra rice, instant mashed potatoes are real good with them, and oats or grits. I'm telling you like you says though bring along some extra rice or some instant mashed potatoes other than that they're pretty dang awesome tasting. I've noticed when Josh recommend something even if they're not paying him you go and get what he recommends because he is not going to BS you around he's going to tell you exactly how good something is and everything that he has that is good in his videos I have went out and tried and he is always correct.
Cous cous works well, Don't need to boil it, just add it to the mix

Good vlog mate! No choppers is great but still probably need a few more years of low pressure for the young stags to get old. Lots of stags about on the coast but mostly only 3 or 4 or less.
