I watched Idol Producer s1 years ago and bruh i watched it like 4 times already.Screentimes for everyone, funny moments, serious moments with fair treatment.
Still remember I couldnt even finish 2episodes of Produce kor aka specialist of evil editing because i was so pissed.
Cici Ahgase they wanted the show to be more dramatic regardless how it could ruin the trainees reputation especially facing the judgemental knetz, it’s awful to think that these girls tried their hardest to debut only to be cancelled by netizen because of the evil editing which leads to bad impression towards them
Not really tho lol... my pick’s first performance was praised by Lisa, and they just edit it to the VIP ver. She performed the eve this round and none of the shoot shows her talent at dancing
The center of the group ( Theai Zeng) really did a great job. Lisa talked about how important it is to be a center of the group because she's the one who will define the team's get up or theme. The part where she smiled and changed to a fierce face, the impact was amazingly crazy.

A lot of people were more focused on, and greatly anticipating "Play" and "The Eve," but this performance just came out of nowhere and punched everyone while saying "Surprise! We'll be taking the crowns, because we're the bad guys!" Or that's how it felt to me, at least.
P.S.: Hana, in my opinion, has the greatest improvement so far. From Sailor Moon to Bad Guy? Talk about character shift! 😂

This is amazing the transitions and the choreo as well the stage presence. They are all so good. Also I see a lot of Lisa’s vibe. I’m shock. Lol. Maybe because she mentored them or smth. But srsly the trainees did so great, I expected the performances to be mediocres but so far every dance performances has nothing but amazing. The details and precision as a group is clearly there. If u don’t know that this is a contest you would think the already debuted. Kudos to everyone. I’m loving this show a lot. IQiYi did a great job choosing the mentors and PD. Congrats also to Lisa! She seems to bring out the best from her students.

I *STILL* love my kpop groups. Lee Chaeyeon is still my all-around favorite. I still think kshows are entertaining. But anyone who looks at these shows objectively can’t deny how much better this show is. Why deny it? Let’s be a good sport and acknowledge that this show has won it, for now. Knowing S.Korea, they’ll upgrade their shows too in no time. Comparisons are good; this is how shows/industries get better.
They are older and more experienced. In Korean shows lots of participants are literally just kids.

@@sibchetnik That's true, but unlike the Korean shows all of the girls usually have to be part of a company and have been training usually for 2+ years. Whilst in Youth With You there's girls who literally started training 2 MONTHS ago and already got praised by Lisa for their dancing, and many of them are independent trainees that have no companies to train and help them. They may be older but don't forget that they have WAY LESS experience then most girls on Korean shows, many have no company, many can't even sing, dance or rap well and have to learn all of it as an almost complete newbie, and the older someone gets the harder it is to learn specific dance moves and stuff.

This is my first time watching this show and I've been getting into it ever since I found out Lisa was a mentor on this. I just want to say, the way Zhang Theia says "bad guy" is SOOOOO GOOOOOD. Like I think there's some distortion in it but the sound effect is so cool!!!! And when Liu Lingzi began she was so cool! Like it was perfect. On top of that dance goes really hard and the girls killed it! it looked so clean!

This (Bad Guy) group is the most pleasure of my eyes in Youth With You EP6, they’re well organized. Everyone had their own spotlight time not only center that had her own dance break but everyone of them had it. They did so great as a team and so well as a performer 👏🏻
ps. I can see why Lisa appreciated them so much, they’re the most improving and hard working toward the same goal what more has Lisa ever want as their teacher.
True. They really had their own spotlight time and it felt balanced unlike "Play'" where we really see whom they're trying to give more spotlight. In this group, not only the center attracts the audience, they're awesome as a team
For me, this performance is best one so far. Instead of tryna out shining each other, they did an amazing teamwork, u could see every detail of their movement with no flaw and their hard work pay it off. That's why they got the most praise from mentors. Like Kun said, this one is not just a dance, it's a performance.

I want to say sorry in advance for comparing Youth With You to Produce 101. "Youth With You" trainees are insanely talented I'm not saying trainees of P101 are not, but these gals are already look like a real idols. The stage performances, the facial expressions, the vibes, ghawd! It is so beautiful to watch and I can't stop repeating it. I wish these trainees a successful career. I want to say, thank you to all mentors. ❤❤❤
I think it's because of Idol Producer, the one Zhang Yixing from Exo was the national producer. It was a huge success, and better known by the time Produce 101 China was airing. And, well, the current National Producer, KUN, is a product of Idol Producer, which was also a huge success, so I think the bigger and better trainees opted to come to Youth With You. Or it could also be because they watched Produce 101 China and picked up a lot of tips and improved themselves more.

Idol producer isn't more famous than produce 101 China. Pd101 China is more famous. Pd101 China has over 200 million views on Youku. Idol producer has about 170 million views.

A lot of people on Youth With You s2 have been training for years/debuted before but didn’t find success. So basically the average level is going to be higher than ordinary trainees who’ve been practicing for a year. Also the Bad Guy group really went at it with the “persistence is more powerful than hard work” motto so everybody in the group improved.

and the fact that other trainees are already popular makes it even more unfair,. while they are on this show all of them should not be on any SNS platform. for ex.joey chua, she got the highest votes which I think its a little bit unfair, I just hope that those people who voted will base it over their performance regardless being a fan (although Joey works really hard but it's still not there)

that's because this show is just as worse as mnet's. most of the actually talented girls won't get a chance to debut. just look at the current rankings. esther yu is ranked first, even though her skill levels are mountains below other girls like kiki xu and babymonster an. she ranks first because of that cutesy persona that guys die for, and not for her actual talent. lots of ppl are also fed up about this.

I think because a lot of these trainees come from places like Malaysia for example it brings in a bigger following. Also Lisa being on here definitely helps.

I'M from peru and let me tell you the decision of iqiyi to implement eng subs and give tbe facilities to Int fans is one of the main reasons also because they knew lisa was going to attract a lot of fans not familiarized with chinese idol music scene

What i noticed is that... it's not just all about the performances of the trainess. The Camera angles! Like it was highlighting all of the best points. Saluteeeee to the production team.
Right??? and they even didn't need to do that because no one was expecting anything from this group nor there was a famous trinee between them. Yet this was one of the best edited performances in my opinion, this only demonstrates how fair the show tries to be. I'm actually so impressed I didn't expect this quality from a chinese program, I changed my view of china in general.

Out of The Eve, Play and this, this was my favourite choreography and performance. I just enjoyed it more for some reason. I love the flow and transitions and they moved more like a group in my opinion. Like Lisa said they each had their own spotlight and you could see that.
Thiea Zheng did very well in this performance. The judges also ranked her in class A. But the votes from audiences were too small, she was disqualified :((

If only the Korean shows hired Lisa as a mentor. Im sure this could have been like this. Dances and choreographies are on point especially their facial expressions and gestures on which I think overall was Lisa's mentoring and advice.
CJ Guillo choreographies aren’t by Lisa. The show hires choreographers for some of the performances, the trainees learn them and then Lisa examines them and checks them. This is for the dance team
Matt Smith I don’t think they meant that Lisa choreographed the dances, they mentioned that the facial expression and gestures were probably due to Lisa’s mentoring and the advice she gave them.
Carimi Chavez yes, that what I also meant at the very end. She said choreographies so that made me think she thought Lisa choreographed the whole dance. The trainees also added their own things and the. Lisa made adjustments and checked them.
What i meant was those choreographies was really good and watching them pick those songs and choreographies was good on which Lisa made them more cleared and clean on their moves and polished them. Lol
And also Kun who make sure they're looking good on camera, teaching them how to catch the camera movement
these girls determination and hard work though.. these girls are the "leftovers" or not picked immediately during the group assignment cause they were ranked c/d/f on the first evaluation but that didn't discourage them and look how much they have improved. hope they will do well in future too

These weren't the leftovers lol, the top dance teams are all stacked with talent - even the least "talented" group in dance (Oh Boy) had higher ranked members than most of the rap groups
