I remember staying with my grandparents in undergrad. One day, my grandmother came to me with her phone and said "can you complete this form for me? I already did other ones."
I was confused, and asked her, "What are you filling out?" She said it was a survey that she was told to complete from target, but I knew she hadnt been to target in YEARS! I went through her phone and realized that she was clicking on every link from unknown numbers saying she won a prize.
She is also the type to have a conversation with the person calling about her "extended car warranty."
Something else needs to be done
Families need to have a "password", so that when a sus call comes in, a family member can just ask, "what's the password?" when a child/grandchild calls, asking for money. If someone calls telling you that your account has been compromised, go into your bank and talk to someone in person.
Using password is a good idea. This company, Aura, reroute the call doesn't work because if someone uses AI to mimic the voice of someone in your contact list, like your grandson or granddaughter, the call gets through.
I'm glad the traditionalists won the argument to keep Notre Dame as it was, and not 'modernize' it. I'm just sorry the gentleman, who deeply loved the Cathedral and felt so much responsibility for it, died before seeing its completion. Perhaps, he will. :)
This is real. I like to play along with scammers wasting their time. They do this and say hideous things to guilt people or scare them. I was shocked the psychologic tactics they use. So sad.
I was there and saw the fire by my own eyes in that day . I felt heart broken and my left side there is a kind old man who showed me the old photo of Notre Dame from his phone that he kept all the time. both of us kept slience and looked at the burning scene felt so helpless , I never ever forget that day .

I find hospital OVERCHARGE seniors for lab and office visit due to them having 2 insurance payers. It is NOT fair cause if insurance does not pay they must.
I was rammed, left, (eventually left to die in an ER), rammed so hard my teeth slammed together & shattered, sustained spinal & brain damages. Ambulance chasers said sign this, I did (tho i had no clue) & lost everything I owned including insurance $$ due me.
Left disabled & homeless.
The 'system' sucks! No one assisted me but allowed strangers to manipulate me b4 my brain healed & i could regroup my life.

Sometimes I ask the temperature. Or what color the sky is. Or some other question like what is ketchup for. Teach your loved ones to ask a series of weird questions. Or odd statements. My shoes don’t fit why is my toe hurting.
Imagine a world where money was spent helping people in need instead of rebuilding a burnout building dedicated to imaginary beings. That’s the world a real god would want to see...
As an atheist, I understand that reasoning & agree with it to a point. But as a historian & a lover of Ancient buildings? Can't agree. She MUST be rebuilt. No different than repairing the Pyramids or Stonehenge. They represent the history of our species, the good and the bad. We neglect these places, we neglect ourselves and forget history eventually. Besides, folks can donate money to whatever they want! Ain't up to us to rake people over the coals. It's their money. Additionally, that Cathedral is a HUGE tourism draw. In the end, repairing her is far cheaper than letting her die. She is worth it! 🤷♀️

Logic demands that only one religion can be valid.
God acknowledges the presence of imaginary deities. The first commandment is:

All religions have differing accounts of the origin of the universe, the nature of God, and what he has or has not said. Therefore, the law of non-contradiction is all that is necessary to understand that only one of them can be true.
Furthermore, God knows he gave logical minds to mankind.
So, he does not spend any effort trying to disprove things that every man already knows are logically impossible.
Logic shows man made gods are not real. Come into reality of no gods.
