Excellent video as usual. Some of these ideas are very interesting. What I like the most is that you present them in a way that makes it easy to understand the base mechanic, meaning viewers will be able to replicate them while bringing their own grain of salt to it.
This really helped,i did something with the raft idea and made a level where you go across the level on a chain chomp stump raft with a buzzy beetle helmet,and you have to stay on the raft as well as keep other things from destroying the raft

Forest is my fav theme. You can make water and land levels at the same time. Not to mention the levels looks beautiful. I like the day forest as if you fall off a ledge you can swim back, its forgiving. I feel the night forest is a better looking version of the Castle theme. Castle and Forest both have their use I made a Yoshi forest level, would like a Yoshi video to get ideas in the future

I really like the first trick with the stumps. The problem is that you can only use it for what loads within one screen. If you try to use them while working through a level beyond the opening screen it all falls out of synch.
When Luigi walks into the purple juice, he doesn’t die like he is supposed to. Instead, he can walk right on the surface! This works by using hidden bullet bill blasters on a blue platform on tracks.

2:50 imo, the porcupuffer is the only boss encounter that can get away with infinite poweups, and thats only cause the porcupuffer swallow jump is an insta kill

Replied to your other comment but here it is: You can have them stand on top of a muncher or a Monty mole/rocky wrench. If you have them on a Monty mole it appears that they stay in place until you get too close and the Monty mole pops out.

I really like the Wandering Woods idea because it fits perfectly with forest theme and you don't know where to go in the level which is clever.
