As the group's fame soars, Curly's downward spiral becomes more evident, despite the Stooges' packed schedule and talented team.

GOD bless you paul howard and your father and uncles..well done in these documentaries ..they made everyone smile with joy and happiness ,greatest gift of all,,,,
Obviously a work of love putting these together. The various narrators do a great job.
Thanks so much to Paul and company for releasing these episodes to CZcams!! What a great treat!
I so wish there were actual video interviews of curly he was so mysterious he never did any interviews or where you could actually see the real Jerome.
I wonder if he might not have put on an act if he was interviewed. Clowning and such.
Curly still brings me happiness. I love him.. Curly & Moe's dad *Sol* was also in Disorder In the Court in the members of public section. Front row on the right side sitting between two ladies.
And Larry's father was a hospital orderly in Men in Black. He's in a couple of scenes.
@@gfriedman99 Cool I did not know that. Thanks
Can't help snickering at the old lady coming on to Bud Jamison in "Disorder in the Court".
" Broad Lane 9972. After 5 o'clock."
As a child, Curley was my favorite Stooge, but as an adult I more fully appreciated what Shemp brought to the 3 Stooges, for he was the brother, the one who best survived with his own movie career. His solo career was very successful, and he laid down his career for his brothers when Curley god too sick to perform as part of the three Stooges.
amazes me how they got their hands on all that rare footage
well they ARE fam so......
Well hey, his son. If he doesn't have it all, no one does!
And those old Moe and Larry interviews
What a beautiful way to honor his father and the stooges
Happy Birthday Paul Howard.
Such good shows. These men were such good friends.
I'm 71 yrs old and grew up watching the 3 Stooges. The theaters always ran one of their shorts before the main attraction. I have their complete box set on DVD and it's willed to my grandson. That's a whole other funny story. The 3 Stooges are still being watched and discussed... 90 yrs later. I'd say that's a hell of a run and it ain't over yet.
0:41-3:15 music to my ears. I’m glad Paul and Joan did this miniseries in 2014 to honor The Three Stooges’ legacy
3:28-19:38 RIP Curly 😭
21:56 SO’S YOUR OLD MAN! 😂
26:57-33:10 long live The Three Stooges’ supporting cast: Bud Jamison, Vernon Dent, Christine McIntyre, Symona Boniface, Dorothy Appleby, Dick Curtis, Emil Sitka, Lorna Gray, Ted Lorch, Barbara Slater, Nanette Bordeaux, Cy Schindell, Philip Van Zandt, James Morton, Mary Ainslee, Harold Brauer, Kenneth MacDonald, Stanley Blystone, Bess Flowers, Jean Willes, Al Thompson, Eddie Laughton, Harry Semels, John Tyrell, and Dudley Dickerson
47:31 my favorite music cue of Hey Moe! Hey Dad! & as Donkey would say in Shrek
They all will be loved forever....
Symona Boniface! The lady who caused me to look for the meaning of "sword of Damocles" as a child. 30:00 Thank you!!!
These histories are so interesting
The Story Of Larry’s Hair torn apart by a frog and never grow back is especially interesting never know these animals have claws.
Long live the stooges!
This was great, I loved this one. And you did a great job with all these Paul! I’m sure your dad and your uncles are so proud. They were all so talented, Larry was too. And you have such a wonderful family and still do to continue your family legacy and keep their memories alive and well. Thank you for sharing all yours as well.
Thanks for making these, they're fascinating. Love those guys.
Curly was the hilarious and lovable comedian of all generations of this slapstick series.
I love this! I grew up in the 60's with these guys. They were like family members! I loved them. Its great seeing behind the camera. Must of been so awesome
to have Moe as your Dad and Curly and Shemp your Uncles, and Larry as a great friend. Thank you so much for showing us these great videos.
God bless you and your family here on Earth, and especially those who are in Paradise... Amen...🤗⛪☮🎶
Just curious, Did the Stooges have stunt men or stand ins? Looks like different guy's in this shot. 22:41
Wonder when this was produced?
Paul Howard is 88 now and Joan passed away in 2021
CURLY WAS JUST THE BEST!!!
"Jules White would never spend any money for a double". It appears he did use one in the scene when Moe was thrown from the speeding airplane propeller. The man who fell into the tub was clearly not Moe.
I wonder if anyone knows the name of this tune. I love it! 😍(3:48 - 3:55)
I’d have to say that it was Curly’s mom’s fault for him being so wild offstage and insecure and lonely because she sort of smothered him in a way
If theres any such thing as a comedic genius it has to be curly howard hands down.
Some of the other actors and actresses came from the Hal Roach era like Billy Gilbert,Del Henderson and Blanche There's also some silent comedians like Max Davidson, Claire Kimball Young,Snub Poolard(without mustache).Kenneth McDonald would later pop up as the judge on some episodes of Perry Mason.
So much Charlie Chaplin influence from what i gather
27:51 Glenn Ford Back row top right. Arthur Lake from the Blondie and Dagwood Comedy movies, first row next to Larry.
I think curly and myself are a lot alike
Every "Red Blooded American Male", born between 1945, and 1975, can remember most of the words to, and sing those lyrics to "Swingin' the Alphabet"....
Hahaha I love curly
✌️❤️
Nobody like Curly? There haven't been many, that's for sure, but I'd argue that Pee Wee Herman and John Belushi are two among the tiny elect.
14:08
WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSPELLING CURLY NAME CURLEY??
Biden!
Columbia actually spelled it Curley for the first few shorts in 34 and 35 in the credits then changed it to Curly later.
Trump

Make the music louder, we can almost here what people are saying.
Watched until Whoopie showed up, no thanks, bye.
As soon as I saw "Goldberg" I immediately turned it off. Your choice...not mine. What were you thinking?
Why should we worry about your own prejudice.
That's your problem Madridme3!!!
@@vincentmanzella1020Go back to watching the view!
"Waaah Woopie I leave waaaaaaaaah" who gives a fuck? Are you cranky cause mama didnt burp you after your bottle this morning?
Was really enjoying this until Whoopie showed up. NAUSEATING.
