    Stood in the kippax pen, crushed, freezing and couldn't see much.
    Would love to do it all again!
    Fantastic Utd support all over Maine road as usual.

    Andy Ritchie... should have stayed at the club. Would have done a good job at least until Stapleton and Hughes came along, perhaps for longer.

    Was at the game which was in danger of being called off due to a frozen pitch(no under soil heating in those days)but pleased it wasn’t.
    UTD fans all round the ground as usual in those days and we were stood in the Kippax taking the piss all afternoon.

      Ha ha, I miss the days when the ball used to land in the mud/a pothole and just stop. No wonder Coppell had a good game, he was the only one who had any grass to run on.
