I tell them not to feel shame if they cry; I do it all the time. "Daybreak" is a song of a very young boy going through a cable-car accident and being the only survivor. (The cable-car was designed for 11 passengers, but there were 32, and the cable broke.) The song is his farewell to his mother and father. The surviving boy was later adopted by the composer and original singer of the song. In the Hunan Television competition, Dimash sang this while he was very, very sick, but because the author of the song was in the audience, he did sing it because of respect of and compliment to him.

I’m just wondering how much effort and strength you have invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that you have. Indeed it is really a great work. How you were able to develop such a heights of your talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because you sing it by heart, naturally and at your heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, courage, dedication and high ideals in pursuing your singing career to the best of your ability the best you can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. The fact that he is able to sing his music with ease and comfort even in a very high notes and or in lowest notes in different languages and in various voices are really amazing. But some others too, cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they wonder and said oooh… is Dimash human..? I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and are convinced that Dimash 20 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is really gifted but his hard work and years of practice and experiences proves it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. For all those who read these reflections and commentaries of mine about this piece of music mostly performed by Dimash. If you think it is helpful for you, for your family and friends you can share it to them as you please, and I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. We should not be rush to go into judgment without any lawful proceedings. If the case is great and they are found guilty some disciplinary actions will be taken soon for correctional reasons. But if the case and issues is just a minor and little thing, why we should be harsh to them..? Could we not give them some other chances…? Many times because of human weakness, even if the person just commit a little bit of offense seems we forgot everything good they have done, and we just see and focus only and overpower by the little mistake that they did. If we let anger prevail in our hearts surely we become blinded to see the good deeds in people. The creative process of this song is divine~ First written and sang by a Japanese singer which is a hit, then Hong Kong lyricist rewrite the lyrics in Cantonese, and this version that Dimash sang in rewritten by a Taiwanese in Mandarin with the true story of a Japanese as backdrop (check out Gloria Wu channel as suggested by many below). The Japanese, Cantonese and Mandarin lyrics are all their own different poetry, but all version projects that indescribable sadness 💔 Beautiful song indeed...
On the show they did the story behind this song, that lead in to his performance, that totally explains the beautiful lyrics. It also shows how dedicated Dimash was to getting the lyrics PERFECT as this was sung in Chinese. As you probably know, Dimash is from Kazakhstan but he can sing in about 12 languages. On another note, the Diva Dance song is from the Bruce Willis Sci-Fi movie Fifth Element where an alien Diva sings the song. They were unable to find a woman who could sing the really difficult parts of the song so they had to use a computer to generate them. Dimash was having vocal cord issues at this part of the show and this wasn’t his best effort for this song. Search Diva Dance Bastau and you will REALLY be BLOWN AWAY!!!

"Daybreak" is a song of a very young boy going through a cable-car accident and being the only survivor. (The cable-car was designed for 11 passengers, but there were 32, and the cable broke.) The song is his farewell to his mother and father. The surviving boy was later adopted by the composer and original singer of the song. In the Hunan Television competition, Dimash sang this while he was very, very sick, but because the author of the song was in the audience, he did sing it because of respect of and compliment to him.

каждый раз не могу сдержать слез, слушая эту песню. Лирические произведения у Димаша всегда безупречны.
То же самое и со мной. Пару лет назад и подумать не могла, что буду плакать, слушая песню на китайском языке. Но - это Димаш, его магия, его душа летит к нам с каждой песней.
Текст тоже хорош, даже в двойном переводе с китайского на английский и на русский (я имею в виду субтитры) не теряет своей лиричности и поэзии, только рифму и размер добавить на русском или английском.... текст понимаете ?

This is a very old Chinese song very popular in the 60's, sung by many good singers back then. Dimash Re-popularized it again...this time WORLD wide 😆😆😆
There is a published story for this song and Gloria Wu probably has it. I too found the lyrics honest human feelings and I felt his performance was also 'honest' by that I mean letting the lyrics tell the story instead of a more flamboyant performance. I find it a miracle for someone to be able to lay their emotions out for everyone. Bless him.

I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength you have invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that you have. Indeed it is really a great work. How you were able to develop such a heights of your talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because you sing it by heart, naturally and at your heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, courage, dedication and high ideals in pursuing your singing career to the best of your ability the best you can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope your listeners around the world especially the young will learn something from your optimistic views in pursuing your career, your persistency, courage, creativity and perseverance. Your labors are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to you, to your family and all others who supported you all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the singer and the content of its music.
My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..?
Although all your music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it.
With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me.
The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible. The fact that he is able to sing his music with ease and comfort even in a very high notes and or in lowest notes in different languages and in various voices are really amazing. But some others too, cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they wonder and said oooh… is Dimash human..?
I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and are convinced that Dimash 20 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is really gifted but his hard work and years of practice and experiences proves it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible.
For all those who read these reflections and commentaries of mine about this piece of music mostly performed by Dimash. If you think it is helpful for you, for your family and friends you can share it to them as you please, and I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. Your own personal comments and critics to this commentary and reflection of mine is very much welcome and highly appreciated too.

Any foreigner who contributed their great services and good things in other countries should be acknowledged and deserve honor and respect. If ever they violated some rules of that country, or make some offenses or rather misbehave sometimes, probably some legal investigation will be done by the legal authorities to clarify things and settle the matters properly and justly in a good manner.
We should not be rush to go into judgment without any lawful proceedings. If the case is great and they are found guilty some disciplinary actions will be taken soon for correctional
reasons. But if the case and issues is just a minor and little thing, why we should be harsh to them..? Could we not give them some other chances…? It does not mean that we should always tolerate all the time the misbehaviors but rather we should remember that all of us are not perfect as well, all the time; we commit mistakes every now and then. Remember the Golden Rule…
I believed that it is not also easy for foreigners all the way through, living, working and serving in other countries where everything are new to them they time to adjust themselves, I supposed they also try their best to do good and give their utmost quality service to the place where they are. Indeed we should be grateful to them for whatever good contribution they have to the society. I believed that peoples will not resists to change when we show them our love and concerns and leads them towards goodness and truth without being harsh to them, this is the real facts and irony of it, that the more we are cruel or harsh to people seems the more they are resistance to change.
Many times because of human weakness, even if the person just commit a little bit of offense seems we forgot everything good they have done, and we just see and focus only and
overpower by the little mistake that they did. If we let anger prevail in our hearts surely we become blinded to see the good deeds in people. And if this behaviors continues to settle in our hearts how painful it is, we cause in other people’s hearts especially to the foreigners.

Love to rewatch it with you! The creative process of this song is divine~ First written and sang by a Japanese singer which is a hit, then Hong Kong lyricist rewrite the lyrics in Cantonese, and this version that Dimash sang in rewritten by a Taiwanese in Mandarin with the true story of a Japanese as backdrop (check out Gloria Wu channel as suggested by many below). The Japanese, Cantonese and Mandarin lyrics are all their own different poetry, but all version projects that indescribable sadness 💔 Beautiful song indeed...

On the show they did the story behind this song, that lead in to his performance, that totally explains the beautiful lyrics. It also shows how dedicated Dimash was to getting the lyrics PERFECT as this was sung in Chinese. As you probably know, Dimash is from Kazakhstan but he can sing in about 12 languages. On another note, the Diva Dance song is from the Bruce Willis Sci-Fi movie Fifth Element where an alien Diva sings the song. They were unable to find a woman who could sing the really difficult parts of the song so they had to use a computer to generate them. Dimash was having vocal cord issues at this part of the show and this wasn’t his best effort for this song. Search Diva Dance Bastau and you will REALLY be BLOWN AWAY!!!

I'm from Philippines,,this performance of Dimash, I think, no doubt he is one of the greatest singer all time... There are many good singers in our country but if they hear Dimash, I am sure, they will be his fans.
