I was never a fan of kiss until I saw them live. Wow just wow. The spaceman has real stage presence. It was like watching a pyramid. I got it instantly. Been a fan ever since. Once Criss and Frehley were gone the magic was gone.
Yeah, there was definitely an interesting vibe that was lost when Peter and Ace left. That’s just something that can’t be exactly recreated.

1:08 is my favorite video of why I love Ace Frehley. This interview I love how Ace goes “We Would Like To Say Something. Nobody’s gonna say it? Alright then I’ll say it!” Runs up and hugs her saying “We love you and the fans.” Not to mention this guy laughs more than the Joker. Gene & Paul were always so serious, Paul pretended he could be as fun as Ace but his definition of fun was a joke compared to Ace. Gene was funny just by existing, he was a smartass and a jackass but he was also too serious- he is always looking for more ways to make money off KISS and it’s insane. Ace is the kind of guy you want to hang out with all the time. I got a few kiss videos on my channel that highlight the old lineup- no matter how you slice it I am a Ace Frehley Fan
Yeah, he’s the kind of guy you would like to hang around in the weekends, but he would be a pain in the butt if you had to work with him.

Ace is such a a silly little guy, and he still stands to be the best guitar player in my book. I'm in love with his playing skills, especially the playing in his song "New York Groove" from his solo album! I'm sad about his leaving, same with Peter Criss, but at the same time I'm accepting of Tommy Thayer; Along with Eric Singer. In shorter words, though I love KISS as a whole, Ace, the silly little space man, will always be my favorite no matter who comes or goes in KISSTORY! (Thank you for these new silly Ace clips😊♥️)
I’m kind of in love with his whole space/alien aesthetic. 🤣 I relate so much to it, because I tend to joke about how _I_ always feel like an alien, too. Also sorta funny how he was the first member I almost immediately gravitated towards!
I love “New York Groove”! I also really dig “Snow Blind,” “Ozone,” and “I’m In Need Of Love.” The whole album’s pretty much a banger, though.

I lost all respect for Gene and Paul the way they treated Ace and Peter. No matter what it was Ace and Peter who helped skyrocket them to super stardom. And it shows just how shallow Gene and Paul are.
His on stage and off stage personas with KISS were complete opposites. Probably the most subdued guy on the stage, compared to Gene and Paul at least. But off stage easily the wackiest.
It’s almost fascinating to me, tbh. I won’t write a novel here about why I think that is (I think some of the reasons are/were obvious) I’m just choosing to focus on the moments that make me laugh.
You gotta love that laugh yeah gene paul were definitely jealous of Ace for all the attention he got because they were so fuckin lame

Ace was my hero growing up in the 70's. Then I started playing guitar and in my adult life, I played with a few bands. I always took it seriously, but also had a lot of fun. The secret was not to be so serious that you couldn't have any fun.

I know this because I have that whole bootleg video. I hope that now that you are informed you have changed your perspective on how Gene treats his youngest fans. That was Paul's son Evan stanley.

I noticed the members of Kiss were a little creepy when it came to picking up the chicks.🤔 If they weren't who they were, they would be called creepy.
Like Jean and Paul had to be babysitters. They put too much pressure on themselves that's what the security guards were therefore. To have to do with Ace and Peter but Jesus. This was the 70s, the decade of excess debauchery An absolute naughtiness. And nobody's fault the paul stanley Had a king baby complex. And he had a deformed ear. He made it seem like you know. His problem was just worse than anybody's Paul's poor ear. And he couldn't hear out of it either. So what are you supposed to s*** all over? Everybody else because his life is not going the way he wants it to. And Peter were just doing whatever one else in the rock world. We're doing even the guys in rush and yes we're doing cocaine back then. I mean, you know, they act like the peter and ace for the only guys in the industry that were out of control with drugs. Problem with jean and paulie is they couldn't relax unwind. And that made them just that much more.
Undesirable to be around. And then they started rubbing shoulders with Hollywood. I mean, that's a f****** joke date and share and Diana Ross. Come on, Gene get your head out of your a**. I mean, they are a 4 man entity. And they should all have equal share in that group. And that was a never the case. And of course, the 2 greedy members felt since they wrote most of the music that they should be paid more. That's where the crack started.
Then stabbing ace and peter in the back. And bill McCoy didn't help situations. He was running this band into the d*** ground with all this merchandise c*** and then buy 79 hell. A lot of their real fans abandoned them for the newer generation of kids. No wonder peter and ace thought this was a joke. Like I said, you can blame that on bill and his massive cocaine addiction. Yeah, I'm very upset little cat. Yeah back in the day he added a horrible temper. But I can understand back in the late 70s. With him going through his divorce and finding out his wife was cheating on him with some douchebag from angel and that band absolutely sucked. And she basically took everything from him. And the fact that they never took any breaks from the road. I'mean it was unrelenting, you know. Ace and peter actually had fucking families, paul and jean didn't. And I think that put pressure on peter to use drugs even more to cope with that crap. But who wasn't using drugs in the 70s? I mean, at least Peter and Ace are alive to tell about it. There's a lot of musicians that didn't make it out of the seventies

I believe the little boy is Paul’s son, Evan. I prefer to think that maybe Gene already saw him quite a bit, and maybe took pictures earlier that day or something. I’d hate to think he’d just ignore the kid!
