maarnextdoor i started cheer this year and i didn’t know how to do a cartwheel. they’ll teach you and you can start on a prep team which is still competitive but takes any skill level
Madeline Shaul I personally love cheer, my school has a team, I love following comp cheer but i’m not and havent ever been on a cheer team. I’m 15 (16 in April) and I know I could learn tumbling and start at a local gym and stuff, but i’m not a real athletic person, i’m really focusing on music as a career and cheer would take time away from that, so I feel like for me personally, trying wouldn’t be worth it. if I was younger I think it could be different but yeah.
maarnextdoor it’s more than just flexibility there is a ton of strength and endurance elements to cheer for example I know a girl that’s on a level five team that can’t even do a back bend that good😂

I’m telling y’all Makenna Burns is so slept on! She’s honestly one of my favorite flyers! She has great technique and flexibility. For this season I think it should have been Ryan center for main stunt with Makenna Burns and Maddie dorton off center. They are almost the same height and then kenley could have flew in Makenna Burns spot which would have kenley and Emma partners and they look the the same height in the air and kind of fly similar!

@bella Thank you! I hadn't noticed it before & she's the only one I saw doing it. Hope she doesn't keep going so hard and hurt her knee or whatever she has going on. This is the first time I've noticed her having the sleeve up to her knee too.

Slated they are now level 6 so is all of last years “level 5” teams. Restricted level 5 is now called level 5 and normal level 5 is now level 6!
