    Yay! I have dubbed myself Matt’s crazy art fan! I’ve been binge watching your videos. (They are far less stressful and violent than Game of Thrones.) I found cheap galvanized write at the local junk/overstock store and I’m wrapping everything. I wrapped a bread while I watched this video that I wanted to share, but it seems there is no way to leave a pic in a comment. So anyway... Thanks! This channel is awesome!
    Seriously, thanks! You are so talented. Today I’m going to the lake. I’ll be wrapping the skinny end of chop sticks while the kids enjoy spring weather.

    Hello, I love the way you wire wrap your jewelry. But is it possible to pull the camera a little bit further? If you hold it further it's stil good to see and less a problem to stay in frame. So you try to let us show the way it works but we can't see it because you do it out of frame. Sorry for the long sentences but I am not native English so sometimes I need to go from Europe to USA and I go via Africa... if you know what I mean...
    I already tried many things of your videos and they absolutely are beautiful. I wearing one of your designs right now. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and your knowledge... ❤

    Wow man, a very pretty pendant. The silver on white does look nice. Hey, I have some little MOP flat beads just about the same size as yours only they're dyed a very pretty blue... And, I have blue wire that's the same kinda blue... AND, (here's where it gets interesting) I also have some blue chain. They would all look good together, too... kinda maybe sorta somewhat. We shall see. Ah crap, I don't have blue jump rings. Hhmmmm 🤔. I could try to make matching jump rings with the blue wire I have...Well, I gotta get going 🙆. Peace Out, Peace In😁🙄. Later 🐊

      @@MattsCrazyArt I get mines from Parawire too only at shows. I dont want to pay for shipping or place an order over $100 or 200 for free shipping. copper & stainless steel is the majority of my inventory. I really dont like aluminium. I tend to use lots of 18 gauge so your vids give me ideas on how to use small gauges that I underutilized. I have (colored wire 30-22) & bare copper & as 24, 20 & 12 gauge that sit. I need to be making new project with all of this. I look forward to your upcoming vids.

    Any ideas on using smallish scraps of wire. I love using sterling, but am traumatized by waste.

    • @BigHenFor
      @BigHenFor Před 4 lety +1

      If your using sterling silver (925), you can save your scraps, and use a torch and crucible to melt them down. Or, you can make dangles from them. Straighten, loop one end, and hammer the loop but not the scarf to work harden. Hammer the other end out flat. You can add these to earrings and pendants, or even form necklaces if you collect enough. If you're au fait with soldering you could form clean closed loops for a more finished look. Waste not, want not.

    • @BigHenFor
      @BigHenFor Před 4 lety +1

      PS Just watched an tutorial on making cha-cha rings, where several 3mm or 4mm beads are threaded indivually on to head pins, which are then looped Thread these onto a loop in the centre of a length of 18ga wire to form a cluster. This then is wrapped on a ring mandrel in the classic Wire Wrapped ring method to create the Cha-cha ring. Making headwires out of offcuts is Make Your Own Findings 101. Just bend 20ga wire with your flat nose pliers about an inch down to 90 deg angle in the horizontal. Return that short end to the horizontal, and with the tip of your round nose pliers, or if you've got multi-mandrel pliers, use the smallest mandrel, and form a loop or swirl that is centred around the long end of wire in the vertical. This works best with the very tips of the round nose pliers because you can form a fairly tight centred, closed swirl. Switch to your chain nosed pliers to keep the swirl tight. Finish at a suitable size. Thread your bead onto it and close the loop. If you have several offcuts 2 inches or more, you can make one of these rings. Here's the tutorial: czcams.com/video/8-_RivsBZ98/video.html. Have fun.
