Like all IP cameras, it can be from anywhere provided that the device is on a network connected to the internet and the correct ports are forwarded. 👍

Can the smart tracking also perform optical zoom, or just pan/tilt?

Hi John, yes you can! Under Smart Tracking settings you can set it to adjust the optical zoom based on the target.
For example, under the Tracking Zoom Ratio setting, you can enter a number to set how much of the screen you want the target to fill.
This is alongside panning and tilting automatically 🙂
