being from emerald isle nc (the obx) you either buy a brand new jetski and you're good or you buy a used one a run into a shit ton of issues, around here you see 10/20 year old jet ski's all the time abandoned because they're not worth putting the money into them. random fact but i felt like it would be useful.

One thing to note, Polaris took out the Walker Evans race shocks that would be comparable to your XXC in the 2022-2023 Polaris. I have the 2020 Polaris 1000 S and it has walker Evans, unbelievable suspension. Just figured I'd note that
Good looking out. It is a crap dead this quad is 17k and they pulled the better shocks off the new one. I want a scrambler s real bad.
@ThomasJeffersonIII yes, no difference performance wise. Huge difference in handling and more capable with the WE shocks
@ThomasJeffersonIII Yes, remember that the standard polaris suspension is designed with comfort in mind. The WE shocks are meant for high performance situations allowing you to get the comfort like their normal shocks or stiffen them up and go racing, jumping or hard riding. You'll hardly see a difference in comfort. The standard polaris shocks are so limited in adjustability, you have way more body roll, harder to corner. You bottom out easier compared to the WE shocks.
In UK we never got the walker shocks. But I can tell you get to about 25mph and all bumps disappear. If the walker Evans are lots better the ride must be amazing

Yes, it would be because it has a very wide wheelbase so it’s hard to tip

Slightly earlier Polaris’s didn’t have the radiator so high and also had the battery on the bottom in between the wheels. So the original front storage had a lot of storage. But since they moved those things (which is a good thing) they lost storage but just kept the same concept

Tune and clutching will help with that low end that you don’t get with the parallel twin, where as the can ams have the v twin which seems better for the low end torque

The Polaris doesn’t have fly by wire throttle like the can am - that makes a HUGE difference in throttle response
YOOOOO GO GET THE JET SKI💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
An important note about the Sportsman is the 14.5" of ground clearance stock compared to 11" on the Canam. Makes a huge difference if your doing rock crawling or riding where there are deep ruts or if you don't have $3k to spend on new wheels and tires. The width also allows for stability at much higher speeds. Power doesn't do you any good if you can't use it due to the risk of roll over.
