Well done Emma on a honest informative video. I can relate a lot to how you feel about yourself. I've suffered from depression and anxiety for 10 yrs. I'm so much better than I was but since I had to retire early due to my back I've almost locked myself away. I can go 10 days without leaving the house. I make plans but on the day I get anxious and have a 100 reasons why I don't need to go out. I live alone too, with my 2 dogs. It's real crappy living like this, I'm very antisocial I guess, I feel everyone is looking at me badly and talking about me sometimes if I go out. I am on medication and it does help, it got me back from a very dark time.
Sorry for rambling on lol, I don't get to talk to people much just the dogs 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 probably get more sense out the dogs. Xxx

I suffer from depression and anxiety, mom of 3, part time teacher and my husband is a police officer- so needless to say my mental health can get the best of me. I take antidepressants which helps, but it’s still a struggle on some days. Good for you for taking taking charge of your mental health .

I have often felt very similarly in the respect of "wow I'm so blessed in so many ways - I don't have the right to be suffering" so I've ignored my anxiety and depression all of my life. I just started taking medication for both and had my first therapy session last month and while I am at the beginning of my mental health journey, it's so comforting to see others be open and honest so we can work through this together... especially someone I adore! I'm proud of you for taking care of yourself, Emma, and for speaking out! Have a wonderful day 💕

It takes a lot of guts to be honest and vulnerable about mental health in any situation, let alone in front of a camera! You’re so right that pain is pain, and while gratitude and awareness of our privilege is important, it’s equally important to remember that all pain is completely valid and worthy of help. I’m so glad the sessions are helping you feel like yourself again - you are awesome!! This is such an important and brave video, thank you so so much for sharing this xx ❤️

I come from a similar background of working from home , attending press events and going to places where a lot of people were very glam!
The running through conversations over and over I can massively relate to.

    Hi Stephen 😊
Good for you Emma, genuinely thrilled for you and your family for your progress and awareness of your well-being. I deleted FB and IG as I got truly tired if people’s pretentiousness and all those keyboard heroes on social media. I am so glad to see you rise above, I never understood how anyone could criticize you or your content. Onwards and upwards and all the best for you 4.

Glad you were able to talk openly about your mental health, I struggle with mental illness and it’s so difficult to explain to others about what it’s actually like to be mentally sick and it’s difficult for them to know what to say or do when your struggling. Most people think it’s just like having a bad day which couldn’t be more farther than the truth and it frustrates me so much when people say just get over it or wise up because it’s not like I’m choosing to feel so bad it’s the invisible illness that has a grip of me love your videos keep positive love Sarah in Belfast Northern Ireland xox

Thank you for this video Emma! As a therapist in the NHS I can't tell you how often people tell me they don't want to waste my time, that there must be people more in need etc. If the difficulties are negatively impacting on you and your life it's definitely worth looking into help, and the earlier the better! X p.s. love the broken little finger analogy, I'm going to steal that one! 😉

I had my last counselling session today (which is both yay, and scary in itself!)
I got into the car and the radio came on and McAlmont & Butler Yes, I do feel better came on, which I'm now taking as a positive sign that my mindset has changed
    Sending love xxx

I do apologise, a bit of a late comment, I'm very new to your channel, but had to comment of this, I must say I think you are amazing, I have felt very similar feeling the past, not quite as bad as some of the thing you we feeling but a lot about going to new places, what I said to people, how I looked to them as being a mommy of 3, one girl and twin boys I'm not the most skinniest, but your video really spoke out to me and thank you for that, I honestly do think you are fantastic and I hope your videos carry on for many, many years, (no pressure or anything lol) you have given me so many ideas about all different things, mommy related, home and so much more so thanks again so much
