Ikr! I'm not going to make a clock, I'm just going to have a dispenser with a button. I'm going to kill one batch of silverfish and that's it. I'm set for a long time.
Hardest part of this farm is the allay
and getting the initial slime for the initial oozing potions. I think for most players depending on the slime needs, the most time efficient slime farm is the swamp farm

@@dariusstarrett8837 Reality doesn't care about anyone's opinions. It only cares about the truth. If you base your reality on opinions then you'll have 8 billion opinions, one for every person in the world.
But if you base reality on facts then the linked videos show I found it before any change logs.
Perfect timing cause Mojang is on summer break so no snapshots to nerf this.
You could use a slime ball for the Allay so it won't block the autocrafter.
This just sounded like a big ad for all your other videos lol

Would be nice to make an item elevator for slime blocks to automaticly put them in the top chest for potions, it will make this farm even more automatic
I mean, make a potion brewer with a 2x chest of slime and you will only need to restock it around every 172 hours

I was thinking with the silverfish potions, is silverfish mining more plausible now? I think it would be a pretty unique idea to mine with silverfish and expose all the ores around.
@@RaysWorks Yeah but tnt can destroy ores too so they are only good if you just want to clear an area i think

Wouldn't a normal mob farm but with a lingering potion of sliming make more sense? Then you can toggle it on and off depending on if you want it or not

hey ray, do you think because bogged are shorter than skeletons and zombies, if you built a creeper farm in mangroves or swamp you could get a creeoer / bogged farm with poison arrows? i wonder if bogged run from dogs
You can make a diamond farm with the new trial chambers because if you use an ominous bottle the spawn with diamond armor if the turn into drowneds the drop all the items they have and the spawn era regen then you can scrap the armor for diamonds
Ray can you please make Allay-safe versions of these farms for those of us with a conscience?

I made a similar fram in my bedrock edition world but I used despensers throwing snowballs at zombies and I used tripwire to tell when the silverfish stop spawning then with that signal I have a despenser throw the slime potion at the silverfish then 6 ticks later I have silverfish potion throwen at zombies. I also use a small room with trapdoors as the floor to hold the silverfish in before they stop spawning instead of the cobwebs and kill chamber is near anof the same just bigger as used a 2x2 dropshoot as I had 4 1x1 cells of zombies wich where right beside each other as had the zombies standing on 4 candles and had trapdoors at the heads of the zombies to ceep them in there cell and stop them from falling in the farm.
On a creative world I first used witches and powder snow as witches can heal but they cap dieing so I thought what is seen as damage but health doesn't go down and that when I started using snow golems and zombies as zombies are easy to find alot of in srvival and snowballs don't deal damage but no matter how I set it up silverfish where ever getting out of the farm or killing all the snow golems or the snow golems could not hit the zombies. This is why I used despenser to throw snowballs but I also had trouble with getting all the silverfish to fall out of the zombie cell so then I thought if I make it 2x2 then there will be more space for them to fall but with this walls, fence, glass pens and iron bars would not work so I then went through all the weird hit boxes until I landed on tartle eggs wich zombies brake and so I left it for 3 days then seen candles in a friends house in the world and new that is what I needed as the 4 tartle eggs where right hit box.
Sorry for the long rant of my non optimased frame and bad spelling it is just I had just finished digging out 4 chunks to make a slime farm when I was looking at what was in the 1.21 update and seen those 2 potions so was annoying that I spent the past week digging that pit

There's a couple parts that are hard to do in survival mode, but it's a fantastic farm and I'd highly recommend it if you have the materials! I've run it with only 6 of each potion and I already have 9 stacks of slime blocks! Unless you need a crazy amount of slime, this isn't something you need to run at all times.
I'm going to try and hook it up to a button to run through 1 cycle personally. I also want to pipe the blocks to be accessible from a single chest

Getting the crafters facing downwards is a bit of a pain after you've placed in the chests, it would have probably been better to place them earlier in the process
Putting the trapdoors in the campfire pit is ok but if you mess up its a nightmare to find the crafter that collected the item. Not sure if there's much you can do about that though
But the main one was the allay trapdoor section. When you showed to place the trap doors you didn't mention to also build a platform there for later, and when you cut back to it with an allay on a leash the platform was already built. I had to hop down to the bottom and scaffold up to add that platform as I couldn't reach from the top 😅

7:03 Is this really a thing, I thought it had to be furnaces or a block with inventory to stop hoppers from looking for items above them. If I'm not mistaken a regular block wont stop this right? As there are farms that have solid blocks on them with a Minecart glitched in, like sheep farms and the hopper will still accept items even having a solid dirt block on top.

Why have the farm within 32 blocks? Aren’t mobs unable to despawn up to 48 blocks from a player? Or am I getting my numbers mixed up
I have a little issue with the oozing auto-brewer, it keep outputting 2 throwable oozing potion and 1 water bottle. It eventually get into the dispenser and throw off the farm timing. Not a major issue but it's kinda annoying since it clog up the potion chests. I don't have the same issue on the silverfish potion auto-brewer. I build both brewers from the provided schematic and can't seem to find anything wrong. Do you have any insight on this issue ?

I wonder what's the Performance impact of this farm? I have a server I plan to use it for though it ain't too powerful as far as I know (2 Gigs of ram maybe?)
@@thewannabeweeb this farm alone won't kill your server, also really depend on how many concurrent players you got but if you plan to get a tons of farms running it may start to feel clunky. Biggest threat to 2gig servers will be chunk generation at the beginning if a lot of people spread apart you'll experience rollback also because of mobs spawning (this is why tuibgs like paper tweaks mobs or redstone) farms will become an issue if there is too many running at the same time
where does blaze powder go for the autobrewers? just stick it in the brewing stand?

I would really like an overworld farming module. Where I can afk fish (using your awesome farm ofc), farm bamboo, farm sugarcane, and farm hostile mobs, since all other overworld farms I need can be chunk loaded. I know how to build all of those. But I thought it would be really cool if you get dropped one firework after you real in a fish and then quickly use it to kill the hostile mobs. You get exp this way from the hostile mobs and you only have to hold right click if put the fishing rod in your off hand and if the firework ends up in your selected slot.
It should also be fully sustainable, since fireworks use only paper, gunpowder and dye, which can be made from bones dropped by skeletons. I thought that fireworks would be the best, since it is the only way to kill all overworld mobs using a single use right click item that I could think of.

Hey Ray, I'm a bit lost on where to find the material list. It not in the description and I don't see a google document to where it would be linked. I just used your world eater from a few years ago and it worked great this one is a little more advanced and hard to follow without counting individual blocks. If Its somewhere obvious thats on me.

Everything should be farmable in a sandbox game.
That's why I want a way to reset the Vaults, albeit somewhat hard so it's not easier to farm than to explore.
Yeah its quite unfair that the spawners reset but the vaults don't they should just make their cooldown even bigger but it should atleast reset i think

if you really want to farm them you can using 129 players, but thats very impracticle and they don't need to be farmed since they're just supposed to act like regular chests on singleplayer

gunpowder farm are more useful than phantom farm so splash is "cheaper" investment than lingering. For the oozing part i'm curious if lingering can make it so you spend less potion but it's up to testing to say
I used the schematic in survival, and I have silverfish spawning from outside the top of the farm.

hey i built this using a schematic and i cant get the auto brewer to work at all, it just spits out a bunch of water bottles or mundane potions into the bottom chest while the brewing stand fills with stone. was trying to check it against the world download and i cant tell what im doing wrong. any chance u have any advice?
You might have built it over a chunk border or partially unloaded it or just started it wrong. also it is locational so you might need to rebuild it . check out the world download and the video on the tutorial on it.
@@RaysWorks its not over a chunk border, i built it exactly lined up with the world download and i started it by putting a nether wart in the hopper with 19 cobblestone. the video in the description is for a different machine so its not that helpful 😭

Why does 1/3 of the bottels from the auto brewer just become "Potion with no effect", Have i done something wrong and what could it be? It happens for me both in the world doawnload and my own world.
The auto brewer is locational btw. This is mentioned in its tutorial video. Try moving it a bit

Im not getting silverfish, I'm getting the caption "Silverfish hurts" but no actual silver fish. Its inside the chunk, on a superflat world, with as far i can tell no significant differences

tf are you using it for. this is over 3 blocks of slime PER SECOND. you couldnt place these down fast enough in survival to even use them all.

Since when do regular blocks stop hoppers from checking item entities? Is that a new thing?
That's how it's always worked. That's why people use hopper minecarts to get items through solid blocks
@@Keanine no... if you shoot an item into a block like a dispenser wouldn't the hoper suck it? Also soul sand is solid too, but lets the hopper suck just cus it's hitbox is not full. Why is everyone using composters against lag then?
@@tunafllsh Yes you're right but I think you misunderstood what he meant in the video. The block above only stops the hopper from checking entities from above if its a normal solid block. Items can still be inserted into its inventory and it can still pull from an inventory above it if the block is a barrel, dispenser etc
@@Keanine I was actually right. 1.21 has changed the behavior of the hopper. It used to still check for entities even if there is a block above it, you had to actually put a container like a composter to make it stop checking. I just tested this in 1.21 and 1.19.4. I like this actually, no ugly composter line anymore.

@@RaysWorks the autobrewer in this video and the one in the link are different in some ways: this one stops brewing when the chest is full, it has an automatic water bottle filler attached to it and it s actually just built differently. also does this also work only in some positions like the one in the link? or has that bug been patched?
@@Serge4444 You might be able to just pause the video and copy that bit of redstone. Otherwise check out the schematic or world download
I downloaded the nbt file and ran your machine but it just didn't work. The output was just water potions. I don't know if I have done something wrong.
make sure to learn how to run the brewer to start with
@@RaysWorks The auto brewer doesn't work in the schematic/world download. To fix it just rotate the dropper receiving the stone/slime blocks into the other dropper instead of the barrel. That worked for me
just got done with building my 1.18 swamp slime farm yesterday and then this comes out, last one took me 5 hours because of how far away it was and the brown mushrooms
i keep getting an issue where silverfish will glitch outside of the water and land outside of the farm, is there anyway to fix this?

with my ender slime farm version i do have to filter out the pearls
I did something similar, with the allay constantly getting damage by a wither rose, and they became immortal, is this a normal thing?
allay have passive regen, so if wither rose didn't kill allay fast enough they will regen back for eternity

ps- dont use cobble stone spent tons of time getting the allay in and farm was working great.... until they started taking over there was like 500 silver fish and they took over everything and all the cobblestone was infested so just a reminder DONT USE COBBLESTONE!!!!

They are taking damage, but they regenerate health so quickly that they are almost invincible
a little sad that there is no material list but nice video and even crazier is the farm you are so technical
I built this farm on Java and it doesn't work
and it only me on my server built this on the same part on chunk as videoput 36 allay and turned it on infestion potion and all I got was alot of bubbles and noise
