@@fungiformenow Unquestionably, but I can think of few players who are in Joscho's league. It's possible to be a good, dependable, solid and interesting player without being a top virtuoso, and that's what I identified in this performance. There are videos showing other guitarists accompanying JS and taking solos, but the solos are often disjointed, rather like a series of learned set-pieces that don't go together well. A proper guitarist can take a solo, whether improvising or playing something they've learned, and make it flow and fit the tune.
@@fungiformenow im sure that isnt the case but it always feels like joscho is mocking the other player ...its feels kinda disgusting, but i m pretty sure that is just a burden of being at the top. Everyone looks inferior near you and the true amazing player is the guy who doesnt fear playing with him and lets him shine for us.
@@fungiformenow it was hyperbola, i would never dare to say he does that, just that it feels like it (subjective feeling of a viewer). I thought my words are more clear but i guess it needed further explanation and whole opinion was to express my respect to people who actually aint scared to look inferior
