Darryl understood michael the best, he knew michael aint racist, just out of place all the time, and he have his revenges,his laughs, and his loses too. Well written character
Seems like him and Michael were pretty close, as much as he hated Michael stereotyping him he knew it wasn't real hate more misunderstanding. I like that they always kept Darryl around.

Darryl's exit from The Office is one of my favorite exits of a character. It is such an adorable musical dance number. Very joyous and fun. They had to give Darryl a good send-off because he was so beloved a character.
The guy who shouts “dammit Michael” is Patrice O’Neal. Great comedian.

The best Darryl scene is his "be your best self" speech to Andy and then his confessional to the camera where he says he doesn't know what Andy's problem was, but it's his standard advice.

Darryl is one of the best characters on the show, IMO. His interactions with Michael are always hilarious.

The Office got me through a very difficult period of unemployment. I watched it while putting out hundreds of resumes. It's a great show.
He had a recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine playing a dude named Doug Judy and he's funny AF.

Also he was there before Darryl, Patrice's character probably would've evolved onto what Darry eventually became, Patrice was notoriously hard to work with on set so I think thats why they brought Craig Robinson on

I couldn't believe they didn't have the fire drill in the best of Dwight episode. That was #1 for me! The way everybody panics, they destroy a copier trying to get out, was it Oscar who tried to climb into the ceiling? Angela's hiding one of her cats under her desk and throws it up to the hole in the ceiling and shouts "Save Bandit!" That was the best. The CPR one was good too. I remember the instructor telling them to compress to the beat of Stayin Alive and Michael gets it wrong and starts singing I Will Survive instead. Afterwards Michael and Dwight have to go to corporate and get scolded because the company had to pay to replace the dummy that Dwight butchered.
After you finish the office characters, you should do Parks and Recreation characters. Ron Swanson first 😊

My favourite part of Patrice O’Neil was when he asked the question we all were thinking about Michael. It’s during the safety seminar in the factory and he says “what the hell is wrong with this man?”
