I was also posted to Bawjiase and I couldn’t believe it. I had anticipated that I would have already been in the UK by then and probably gotten my pin kraa. I remember listening to Judikay’s Capable God song very regularly especially during the bumpy bus rides to and from Kasoa in tears while encouraging myself that my time will come and I’ll finally move to the UK. I miraculously end up in the UK 7 months after posting with so much joy , gratitude and hope, only to get a reality check just less than 3 months of working here as a pre-registered nurse that I was battling against principalities and agents of lies at work who smile in your face and falsely accuse you behind your back…. My heart was broken by the lies and pretence. Eventually, God won and I’m happier with peace of mind in a different facility.
