^The labels always push the Whites now (Adele, Timberfake, etc)…meanwhile talented Minorities and Blacks relegated to the back producing and writing for them, JC included (he’s Creole but management hid this). That Hot Ones Spicy Wings challenge was nothing for him! Most talented boyband vocalist and dancer to come out ANY boyband since Michael Jackson!

BSB never came back, because they never left. They never broke up. They never went away. NSYNC split up, disbanded and stopped making music for 20 years. BSB has been continually churning out new music, tours, and shows for the past 3 decades.

Last week Matty said I'll never get married and I was so bummed, but he won me back with how cute he was about bringing up chili.
I don't think that Matthew said that he will never get married again but that it was hard for him to get divorced knowing that he had made promises in front of God and friends and family members and that he couldn't keep those promises. I am paraphrasing here.

Still going strong, CONSISTENTLY putting out music and giving their fans so many things to look forward to for 30 years now. They have still the biggest and most loyal fandom.. They actually write a lot of their own music, they play instruments and truly love and prioritize their band/brothers and all their fans. Can't say any of that about Nsync. Also numbers don't lie! All the records they broke and still hold. And the highest amount of record sales above any other boyband ever. No question. ❤ Also I have bsb tattooed on my arm lol.

One thing I loved about boy bands and the pop in general of the late 90's early 00's was pure theatrical performances, they knew how to put on a show and keep the audience entertained. When I watch a lot of today's music artists I get so bored watching them perform and a lot of it is so overly sexualized.
I get so frustrated for Matt because they never let him finish a thought.

Also about the dancing, the CEO made them focus not only on vocals but dancing. And he didn’t do that with BSB. It’s on a documentary.
Backstreet has always been together, they've been making albums for years. They never broke up or left to "come back". Lol. 😂
Kevin left once to do his own thing but the 4 other guys put out 2 albums without him but with his blessing. Then Kevin came back. But they never stopped making music or touring together. They'll go off and do their own thing but still be together making music. Lol.

Nsync was always my favorite. But my problem with Justin is that he seems/comes off like he’s better than the rest of the guys. Don’t get me wrong, he did more recognizable solo work. But he isn’t bringing the group back for the fans… he also doing it because it’s a money maker.

I agree about One Direction...absolutely! In fact, "Steal My Girl" was at the top of the charts when I was pregnant with my son. Babies really are affected by things they experience in utero...my son still loves the song to this day...and he loves One Direction. And "Better Than Words" is one of my favorite tunes by the band...also I love "Girl Almighty" and "Stockholm Syndrome". "What Makes You Beautiful" makes me and my son dance every time! ❤️

*NSYNC was put together by Chris Kirkpatrick, not Disney. Justin and JC had Disney ties from being on MMC. Also, “Girlfriend” is an *NSYNC song, not a Justin song. They were amazing singers and dancers! BSB has some good songs, too, but I’m an *NSYNC gal forever.

BSB for me and they are still working. They never “broke up”. I live in LV and their DNA Tour wore me out (I’m a spry 47 -exact 4 months older than Joey. ) I danced so hard and they danced harder. I was like “ I need to call their trainer. Ha! 🎉 Also, I do hope the NSYNC people get their dream - as long as the music is fun let’s party. 🎉Also HUGE NKOTB BH. Y’all woke me up. Let me clock into my job. To pay for these concert tickets 🤣 love y’all. I literally wake up and put yall on in the morning.

I definitely liked both the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC (I didn't get the whole fandom wars back then and still don't), but I definitely preferred NSYNC's overall discography over BSB. I saw NSYNC live twice back in the day and their concerts were so much fun. One thing I will say about Backstreet Boys is that it's incredible how long they've lasted as a group and they've never broken up aside from Kevin leaving the group for a few years. They have proven groups can have longevity and still be successful not to mention they all have families of their own now too and they still make it work. The only thing that I'm kind of skeptical about this NSYNC reunion is that it seems like they have no plans to tour. If you're going to release a new song and hype up a reunion don't do it for 5 minutes and say see you again in another 20 years.
I'm wondering if maybe they do have plans but cant talk about them yet because of the strike (from what I understand all 5 guys are members of SAG/AFTRA). It does seem ridiculous to hype up a reunion this much for only one song.

Fun fact if yall didn't know...the Disney special *NSYNC did was originally meant for BSB but they couldn't do it for whatever reason so *NSYNC got it and I believe thats what really put them on the map they were already getting pretty big in Europe beforehand but ya that special is what really done it for them here in the US in my opinion.

If you take someone who passed and AI sampled or hologram their likeness, without their ability to consent, they never get to rest in peace. It could also make artists who have disputes with their labels worth more dead than alive. It’s a bad idea.
I liked the idea of those mashups Andy mentioned, but you make a great point here. If the artist were alive, would they approve the use of their likeness & shouldn't that matter? Removing the agency/autonomy of a person, dead or alive, re: their likeness/art can further open up a truly unethical & dangerous can of worms. There has been ongoing speculation re: artists meeting their untimely demise, for the dead vs alive scenario you mentioned, and I can see that risk increasing here.
