Ok it's official, Proxyon was the Original Mashup King, and still is the king of Mashups. They're so good, it takes you a while to realise it's a mashup. lol
Great Song!!!!!
Proxyon,KOTO,Laserdance legendary group of Spacesynth, greets from Poland !
No i jeszcze abbsynth rosyjski. Polecam
Don't forget that spacesynth was italo disco instrumentals, before
it became a genre of it's own.
Music of future!!!!
a tape cassette, a walkman and this track - this is my memories from early 90's. Gosh what an impression such tunes was making on me at that time!
Or late 80
This synth trumpet and vocoder brings me back to 80's.
Summer 1989 - a field somewhere outside London + ecstacy....and this :-)
From the 80's I have waited that they come to take me away.
TO JEST MUZA PONADCZASOWA........SUPER!!!!!!
Sie wie 🤘
the masters!!!!
I'm crying right now! This tune brings back oh so many good memories! 80s for ever!
Estas canciones deberían tener más apoyo, agradesco a mi papá que me enseñó este género de música, es la mejor que he escuchado
I feel like im flying trough space right now
Searching a big part of my life for this track. TYVM!!!!
Great music track! the best of Proxyon
awesome five stars! this tune could be space synth italodisco as well as space synth discopop, future pop sounds. Space Synth will be around for many, many decades, space music is ahead of time
super :)
After all these years Proxyon still sounds great!
Dokładnie, tak samo dobrze
space synth for life, peace from Bosnia!! Koto, laserdance,Proxyon,Cyber Pople !!!!!
Thank you! Nice memories!
@axe12100 the 80s is and will always be the best era for music, nothing can compare to the tunes from the 80s. Those 80s tunes will be around for centuries to come, todays music will be music of yesterday
Wonderfull music
An impressive and admirable music !
true
espectacular....son unos maestros
Michiel van der Kuy der Supermaster for Ever !!!!!!!!!
Michael Walke
This is van Eijk
The only references I could get were "One More Time" by Max Coveri and "Tokyo" by Brian Ice
@NWO41508
You're right! And the guy with the Max Coveri cover is right too. But none of those other songs have it sound as good as Laserdance's version. I mean when you listen to all three renditions, you just *know* Laserdance is the way to go.
Great music! No wonder it was used for the Atari 8-bit game "Thetris".
@stkthree03 I just noticed all these things (samples) from all these songs that proxyon used in this song. Great find. I guess Proxyon was the original Mashup master. huh
Que buena música electrónica de Italo Disco Euro disco 80
Supermusicspacesynth
Its The Enterprise ! ^__^
Komputer Cast like it's 1988!
Give me back the eightes!!!!
harika
Duh! Proxyon is da bomb!
This is what REAL auto-tune sounds like!
bellaaaaa!!!! :D :D
it sure has influenced trance
good keygen tune
opening melody sounds like Max Coveri - One More Time
Fred Ventura - Heartbeat . Sounds familiar
@NWO41508 I prefer Why Not's. It seems to have more depth to it. I'm not sure what it is, but I prefer it to this version. Thanks for pointing it out. I knew I had heard that tune before, but there are so many synth songs, I couldn't remember.
Please tell me what you think of the beginnings of these songs : "Excitation" by Laser Dance, and "Moving your Hips" by Squash Gang. I personally think one of the songs inspired the other. Thanks
fucking awesome.
Similar progressions to Alphaville's 'Sounds Like a Melody'. Still, great sounds!
RetroElectroville actually Sounds Like a Melody sounds like Capella - You Got 2 Let the Music
No, this is not a new wave track like Alphaville
Listen this "David Lyme - One more time"
Where i find it ?
Listen to "Max Coveri - One More Time" and then listen to Space Travelers by Proxyon (0:53-1:07). It's the same melody, except this one is transposed to another note.
pretty legit.
Not really, no. Trance got started with EBM and Hi-NRG and it started out as brooding rather than happy. It just gradually pushed itself into the melodic happy trance most people know.
What was the model of the vocoder used in this, it kicks ass!
@camillerrrr Nope. The Max Coveri song was written by A. Carpani (albert one) and the Brian Ice song was written by Zanni/Cunardi (members of Koto). This song was written by Rob van Eijk.
Thank You All Mightily IMGUR!
@stkthree03 Please do. I'll definitely listen to it. And if you're looking for more songs for a mashup, try:
"Excitation" by Laser Dance, and "Moving your Hips" by Squash Gang. What do you think?
yeah man.. do it up.. ill be sure to look for ur video if u do
listen to the part at 1:07 -1:23... then listen to "comet 059 by why not" here on youtube at at the 2:05 point on comet 059...its the same tune.. the same thing but faster
No crying aloud..
Well if you mean spacesynth, it's a variation of italo disco
I have the 7" single in my hand, ready to throw away, thinking how did this sound?? now I know. Anyone interested in the vinylsingle?
What?! There's another one? Not only does this song have parts from "Max Coveri - One More Time", but it also has parts from "Brian Ice - Tokyo". Listen to the vocoder part (1:24-1:39) & compare it with "Tokyo".
Is this even legal??
what drum machine would that be?
Found the lyrics:
"Well into the world, into the world
Fly into the world, into the world..."
Don't see why vocoder lyrics aren't posted publicly.
And Michael van der Kuy said once there's no real language in LD songs.
Space traveler, take to the sky~
Teenagerhood.....
This is pirat of Why Not Group from italy
