I was born and raised in DC. Tony is a fucking genius. I. 2012-13 Tony wrote for Conan O'Brien 7: different episodes...he was paid handsomely for all 7. Ashy Larry is another ghost writer. We had a very good friend's home we all went to ....to watch sports and smoke major hemp...I damn near choke to death listening to him just jone on every muva fucka in the house. This was the 80s. Before he even met the legendary Dave Chappelle. Respect to all the underrated comedians.

Ironic that you say that. I'm one of Tony's promoters. He taught Chappelle his delivery and stage demeanor.. Not to mention Tony also worked with Martin Lawrence. WE are all from the DC area and Tony is the Senior.. Of course Chappelle is the product of 2 college professors but Woods was an Officer in the Navy and became best friends with a guy in the Navy named..... Charlie Murphy. Charlie is the best story teller that has ever lived and frankly, though not as talented, naturally funnier than his gifted brother. . Before Charlie died, I couldn't be around Charlie and Tony together. Why,? you can't eat, talk and half the time you can;t breathe/ They fed off of each other, however, you gotta love Charlie. He refused to let Tony write for him. Charlie is sharp. He wrote "Norbit" and writes for Eddie because Mooney finally tried his own stand up career which kind of sucks, PAul is too angry. Tony chose and chooses not to be the "big dog." Not his style. He wrote for the Chappelle show and for Conan Obrian. Maybe my good friend Tony will get tired of these folks that have half 1/3 rd of his talent making all of the money and turn it up a notch. May happen but it will have to be on his terms .Comedically, Tony i almost on the level of Robin Wiliams, and is on the level of Pryor, Louis CK or Carlin. NO ONE WRITES FOR MY BROTHER TONY unlike Cedtic, Kev Hart, etc. He's like Louis CK who has no writers either. Pryor became a genius because he fired Mooney and just did his act about his fucked up life experiences which were brilliant. As a writer, it must really SUCK to write a great joke but your punk ass can't get on stage to deliver it because the swag is not there. I feel for writers. But as stated earlier, Tony is not a fame whore. It's got to be on his terms. I lTony but he frustrates me because I see the "clowns" in these sitcoms and stand-up specials making millions and Tony could write their material in 30 minutes. Chappelle OWES HIM.....A TON....
