Commissioned by the Cowper & Newton Museum with the Stables
Forever? is a contemporary poetic and musical response to the complex legacy of the iconic hymn, Amazing Grace, and its author John Newton.
Commissioned as part of Amazing Grace 250 - a year-long programme of activity inspired by the 250th anniversary of the writing of the hymn.
It was first performed at The Stables, Milton Keynes on 22nd July 2023 as part of IF: Milton Keynes International Festival
Supported with public funding by Arts Council England and Milton Keynes City Council
An education and outreach programme was also supported by the Wavendon Foundation
