Don't know much about Michael Penn, and I don't need to, in order to appreciate this wonderful song. It is just that I've been listening and playing it for more than 20 years. That says it all. I love it. Actually, I fell in love with this song the very first time that I heard it. Such a fantastic song. It's got all you expect in a great song. And the performance by Michael is simply superb. I just can't understand how this song is not considered a classic at the level of the best. It's obvious that talent is not rated as it should. Thanks for uploading this I keep waiting for clean version of the video to be put on here. The versions here on CZcams look and sound terrible. I think the song is amazing it's one of my favorite songs. I am a huge music fan so the people that know me would know that means a lot.
The only copies of him playing this song LIVE are from old VHS 5tapes=-you will NOT ever find a Digital/MINT version/. He only played this on 2 US TV shows-the other was on LEtterman-a much better version but NOT in HD
