"like a sausage going down a haunted old well." Where the hell did that one come from ? 😂😂😂😂😂
Figured it was an easily relatable metaphor for us all 😁👍🏼
We Americans have another saying involving a sausage and going to prison, but with a different meaning
hahaha@@sinesaii
I knew a girl like that once!
The rimless capsules for sovereigns fit nicely in fizzy vitamin C tubes.
Vitamin C tube is 27.5mm internal, Steradent tube is 24.6mm internal (steradent are good for cleaning the toilet which is why I use them).
@@WTU208 Nice, might try that, although I prefer to keep my sovs in capsules. The vit C tube I have seems a little wider at the top than further down. My rimless capsules are about 26mm external diameter and that leaves just enough play so they don't rattle too much and don't get stuck.
Haha I've a tube like that on this video

Many ways to store your PM’s🙆♂️. Luckily, I’ve only got a modest amount of sovereigns, and I like to look/play with them, so I have them in a tray😜.
Thanks for your input.🙆♂️
You can gradually upgrade over time to a bucket then a wheelbarrow 😁
😂 sausage in a haunted old well , classic
🌭🌭
Mate, you’re the only one that’s actually talked about this topic and for that you have my thanks. B liked and subscribed.
I've given it a brief mention here and there I guess people just tend to talk about their gold rather than the plastic 😁 Anyway glad you found it useful mate
WHat I like about storage containers is that it really does protect the coins. Keeps them from getting worse. Really enjoyed the video thanks.
Yes exactly, I've ended up with a few nice ones here haha
I personally place all my individual full sovereigns in 22mm Leuchturm Quickslab coin display cases, not the cheapest method with lots of sovereigns but they look really nice with them in and I add typed cards inside slab with year, monarch etc...another great video😊😊😊
Sounds like you could open a museum 😁 I bet they look great all organised like that
another really interesting video, also great with the links so you never make a mistake. This saves lots of time and money trying to find the right fitting capsule with a design that you like..... The vast majority of my collection is loose in plastic slip/wallet, or poor fitting larger diameter capsules. Only coins I have in proper capsules are from private purchases.. As my PM's are 99.99% bullion only , I am too tight to splash out on nice capsules...Keep up the great work !!! really enjoyed this
Yeah I don't think it's worth spending too much on capsules and accessories but I get it when people take care of their stuff at varying levels too
I was a little nervous where the Sausage was going.
I’ve heard other versions 😂
🤣
I personally prefer the quadrum capsules. They're square with a foam insert which will take a diameter from 14mm up to 42mm. I then store them in a cardboard coin box
It's nice to keep everything uniform but they take a lot of space
i use ultra perfect fit as they are more crystal clear
Cool I'll look them up
I've tried coins fitted in capsules inserted in boxes but ended in A4 pages of 20 x 2" x 2" to display date and sovereign runs.
Having a zip up loose leaf folder securing 12 x 20 x 2" x 2" all in their appointed place with empty spaces still to fill seems to have one drifting into philatelic territory.
However turning page after page does have a satisfying therapeutic effect.
Very nice!
I also have the RM yellow top tube
I like them
Cheers 🥃

Great video! I have asked you in the past many times which size tube fits a full sov capsule in the tube. You had a link on your older video and the tubes were out of stock.
I then found some 32mm tubes on Amazon and when they were delivered they had actually sent me a 25mm tube, l was so annoyed and Amazon refunded me. So now I’m going to order 32mm tube from your link and let’s see if they send me the right size.
I have also had a similar problem trying to get the correct size clear tube for my sov capsules, its been driving me nuts. You may find the ones listed to be slightly too big, the Amazon seller does not reply to messages on the exact internal size of the tubes, Sovereign Saurus replied to a message saying they are 33mm . I have ordered 32mm off eBay and they were 35mm internal which were bigger than I wanted with too much space around the capsule. Also my lighthouse sov caps are 28.5mm outside diameter and not 31mm as per this video. I am waiting for my forth order of these clear tubes from China this time 30mm.
I'm only sharing what I've used. If I were to have the tubes made to my spec I could have some control over the products, it's a shame they sent you the wrong size
Air tite are the best tubes in my experience
👌🏽
Can’t believe we are going through all this trouble to find a tube that fits. It’s ridiculous. The one l am currently using l just stuff inside a cotton wool pad l cut up a bit and that stoped the rattling.
Another good option 👍🏼
John Wick enters chat... :D
Yeah just digging up the garage floor between videos is getting old ;)
I have another supposedly air tite red cap tube from eBay, l can’t remember the size but the sov capsules are lose but o was willing to put up with that. However the lid was not tight and as soon as l tipped the tube the sovs fell to the ground. I was so annoyed. I have ordered the one’s SS gave us in a link, so let’s see what happens. If they don’t fit I’m not wasting anymore money. I only actually want one tube. But l guess maybe l will you the tubes for something else. The 25mm tubes Amazon refunded me for before, they just refunded and told me to keep the tubes. So l am filling them with current circulating coins l am collecting.
Those come in a variety of sizes. I have huge ones for big capsules, and narrow ones for loose silver eagles, and really narrow ones for gold eagles.
Haven't had that happen but not good I imagine when everything plummets to the floor out of the tube.
Saurus, in your opinion for someone with £500 for silver bullion investment, is silver britanias the way to go? or would it be better to get a 500g bar?
I'd rather buy a sov and keep the change if it were my money so to be clear I'm not recommending buying silver but if it was a choice between those 2 Britannia's would be the more desirable. 👍🏼
@@SovereignSaurus appreciate the help!
Thanks for the visit 🙌🏽
