Each regiment Lifeguards and Blues and Royals have their own horses . Some horses look very similar especially those with no socks or blaze so it is difficult to identify an individual horse .
All of these horses are gorgeous, but does anybody else wonder why these horses always look like they are having problems with the "bits" in their mouths? It's like they bother them, or aren't in there right.
They don't have problems with the bit , some horses like to chew mouth and play with it , similar to people chewing gum or a baby sucking a dummy some bits have rollers which encourage the horses to play with it creating saliva which is a good thing . Same with horses hanging a tongue out they do it because they can . Each horse has its own individual tack carefully made and fitted for them .

Serious question: do the guards and life guards share the horses? I'm sure I have seen guards of both hues with the same horses.
