Today I am thrilled to be unboxing the brand new iPhone 15, here in this beautiful blue. Last year, the iPhone 14 was a minimal upgrade compared to the 13, but this year things are different. The iPhone 15 brings the Dynamic Island, improved cameras, neat design changes and of course USB-C, so this is looking like a much bigger upgrade. We’ll talk about everything that’s new, do a brief side by side comparison to the iPhone 14, and discuss whether the iPhone 15 is a worthy upgrade and for who!

I can't pick one specific feature to be honest, it's just the fact that every member of the 15 lineup just got better as a whole package. More comfortable, with better cameras, lighter for the pros, that really cool adjust-your-portraits-later approach to making photos and so many more.
Love the channel, my fav feature is the new camera set up, love that the reg iPhone can now zoom x2 without quality loss to the picture, keep up the good work 👍🏻

I traded my 14 Plus for a blue regular 15 and love the upgrades. The regular size is easier to use one handed too (handy when I’m out walking my dog with dog lead in one hand and iPhone in the other, much less precarious 😊). Nice vid, thank you 🙏.

I think my favorite features of the iPhone 15 lineups is the USB-C added that it also shipped with braided cables which is better than a normal cable for protection. I also like that the regular 15 has dynamic island.

my favorite feature is prolly the A17 Pro chip, it’s obviously their most powerful chip in a phone. also, probably the new action button i think there’s a lot more “actions” that could be added in the future and the dynamic island, it was genius bringing it to the regular 15s.

I think that it's really worth the upgrade especially if you come from an older model. The dynamic island on regular 15, brighter display, rounder edges, matte finish back, usb-c charger, and many more features is really worth the few pennies to spend.

Blue is nice and would be my second choice. I prefer the green though
I upgraded my iPhone 14 base model to the 15 base model and I couldn’t be happier! The finger prints on the 14 was a real issue for me so that alone is worth the upgrade for me personally plus I’m loving the dynamic island 👍🏻

I am truly thrilled with the USB-C of iPhone 15 just wondering what would be the maximum charge capability since this is only an USB 2.0. Also love the camera having 48mp will be much great to take picture of my daughter in school plays ♥️

Samsung user in my entire life.
Never had Apple. But after seeing videos about iphone 15 , yours included, it somehow arouse my curiosity. The colors are really Superior compared to Samsung ( how do they do that in a glass ??? ) and the Dynamic Island is for me a “ superb” innovation.
How does the iPhone 15 stack up against the iPhone 14 pro? As they are roughly the same price at the moment.

finally having usb-c on the new iphone is a game changer knowing that i would not need to bring multiple cables with me when going out because it can be a hassle to bring two cords. also the 48mp main camera is a great upgrade helping the pictures become more sharper and less blurry I cant wait to see the next video where you will compare the pictures taken from the 14 and the 15.

A good question. I do not have my 15 Pro and Pro Max yet, but notice that the regular 15 feels a bit more grippy than the 14 as its texture is a bit different, (which I like). I agree with you on the colors, but in this case black=black and fortunately that option is still available!

My favourite feature in the 15 line up is that you can take default 24mp pictures with complete HDR processing. I think this would be a game changer for many. Even in 14 pro one got just 12 mp output unless shooting pro raw. Ive been using samsung since 2020 and would love to upgrade to iphone 15 series now.

I like the camera improvements the most with the 15/15 pro lineup, especially bringing the 48 megapixel to the 15 and the overall improvements and versatility of the three lenses on the pros

My favorite feature on the Iphone 15 line is the change to a “USB-C” port. I like it since it brings a whole slew of additional features to the Iphone that was previously unavailable. From being able to use numerous USB-C accessories that are currently available in the market all the way to being able to charge other Apple products by using existing Apple USB-C charging cables. It is such an amazing feature.
It's barely blue. When I got mine I could barely tell the difference between the white screen film on the front and the natural color on the back. I thought there was film on the back as well lol. Definitely wish it was a little more blue.
I thought it was white when I saw it in person, beautiful phone but extremely light

Great unboxing 👍🏾. I love the upgrades on the base models great to have USB- C and the Dynamic Island gives the base models a futuristic look but still a bummer that the regular 15s do not have 120 hz or even 90 hz
I still don't understand why they have the mute switch on the 15 but a button on the pro models? Is anybody really dying to have a button as a mute switch?

Yes, that is what brightness in general will do, but I would suggest to increase text size through settings

when the iphone 15 series comes out, I'm really looking forward to the review that will be made of this device, but the review I'm looking forward to the most is your review Dion, I really can't wait for the notification from CZcams, and finally😓 it seems I'm a day late to see your video😅, but it doesn't matter the important thing is that I can see your video.... when talking about the feature that I like the most must be the use of type-C for charging this device, we all know for sure that type-C cable is something that very universal and this really has a very significant impact on this device, and not forgetting the improvements to the camera, this adds to my interest in this device. I really like the USB-C feature, as well as the 48MP camera which also comes with the 2x telephoto feature (I'm gonna use that a lot!). Also who doesn't love the Dynamic Island.

I love the dynamic island especially having a phone without, I appreciate the custom button especially for quick action and the fact that l will be using a type c cable makes it easier to fuse my phone with other gadgets and not having to carry many cables with me and l love how the edges are rounded now and makes it more comfortable in the hand
@misterketley - i like that apple brought 48mp and dynamic island to non-pro models. And usb c that supports display port.

I wish this phone had a A17 pro chip. It was dumb by apple to not upgrade the iPhone 14 chip to A16 like the iPhone 14 pros, and now we are just using the last years pro chip model instead while in the past before iPhone 14, both the pro and regular iPhones all got a chip upgrade from the previous years. What a ridiculous change. Now everyone’s most likely to get the pro iPhones over the regular ones, just how they didn’t improve the iPhone 14.

I love white colour but sadly iPhone 15 plus doesn't have it so I think I'm gonna go for blue because it looks closest to white.
I just received my wife's new blue iphone 15 yesterday. It really is a beautiful phone, extremely light frosty blue color. The finish is flawless and feels so great in the hand.

hm i guess i like that the regular iphone 15 have that default 2x optical zoom considering it doesnt have a telephoto lens. really glad that the standard iphone has that making it better, cuz for me i think 2x zoom is enough for taking portrait photos making the standard iphone a very good choice than of the more expensive pro models.
The action button tho if it can have more than one function rather than only one it would be better, but i dont see myself changing the mute function so the standard iphone having the old switch button isnt a deal breaker for me.

I believe the best feature for the 15 lineup might be the most cliche thing, which will be the USB C.
Using one wire for the entire ecosystem, comes in pretty handy. It should've been implemented earlier, Android users might be taking a laugh reading this but ya happy that it finally happened
I am going to upgrade from iPhone Xr, I can't decide between 15 and 14 Pro (I don't care about usb-c, all my other apple devices and people around me have lighting). Any ideas for which one to go?

ah, a difficult question. Assuming the prices are the same I would go for the 15. Issues like the USB-C might seem a small thing now, but you will appreciate in 3 or 4 years down the road. And the camera, because of Apple’s system, is for wide and main angle better than the telescopic camera of the 14 Pro. I will do a video on this topic later

Looking at the iPhone 15 at first glance I'll say I love the thinner bezels, the matte finish at the back, the new dynamic island which doesn't cover much on the screen as the notch and finally the action botton.
Okay so what i love about the iPhone 15 basically comes with the iOS 17 features. But, I'll say the new features like the Road side assistance, the ultrawide band, the new portrait mode, the action button are most impressive. We also have the new 5x telephoto and the 48mp camera which delivers outstanding photos. On that note, I would like to see the camera comparison between the iPhone 15, S23 ultra and the iPhone 14 so we can know how much of an upgrade the new iPhone got.
Also the new chip on the pro models which is 20% faster is also impressive. That is the A17 pro which Apple says is the best for mobile gaming. I would have loved to test this with a gaming comparison between the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 14, I would be so happy if you could cover this in your next content.
But as always, great content Mr Dion, looking forward to seeing your in depth review of the iPhone 15.

As always a great video! This year's lineup is pretty cool since every model has the dynamic island. They're also from titanium (which I feel is slightly gimmicky, but still cool). Apparently the s24 gets titanium tho. I think you should also do speed tests, they always get plenty of views! It would seriously help you grow your channel!
