those *burbans are awesome- i wouldnt abuse it for rocks and stuff since they get rare and they rise in value- but its your car ;-) its a great built for sure

It's not too big. I own a half built up burb. Now since it's got major body damage, either build an interior cage or exo cage. Then build it more with maybe B-52 swap. Shackle flip. 1 tons. Etc.
Trust me everyone said my burban when it was stock couldn't do what a jeep could and I've shown them who's boss. I got many videos offroading and on a racetrack

Surbrabin 😂 can do jeep trails. Im a square body guy. Short bed though. Never Rocks always mud. Suburban your cray cray.
Screw all the haters, those old square bodies are easy to fix. Dents, scratches, busted glass, no biggie. Pull the inner panel and pound it out, new glass and maybe some finish work on the outside if needed, done. Until then, or if then enjoy the creation you built. I certainly would no matter what anyone says. Great video Steve!

Might be a dumb question but - if one is going to upgrade their axles DANA 60 with lockers, upgrade to an LS (probably 6.0) with 4L80e and NP263 tcase; do you have to start with a 4x4 chassis or can a 4x2 be used since you’re basically changing the whole drivetrain out? Imma send it one way or another but figured you’ve been in the 4x4 community and seen more shit than Farmers Insurance and have knowledge you’d share with someone looking to get into the 4x4 community. On a chevy obs the front frames are different. If your going 4link then it prob won't matter much because allot is cutsom at that point
I have to agree it’s all in what your planning to build or how mild or wild you want to go
With the square body frames or frames in general, is it a cross member to hold the front differential, lining up the transfer case for front pinion angle, and the getting the suspension to support it all? I’m not a fabricator nor a gynecologist - but I’ll take a look at it! LOL!!!
