gladJonas sucks the genre has changed, it’s just the way shut goes with time, music in the same genre has the same foundations but they’ll always evolve, for better or for worse, just the way it goes, that era was personally my fav tho 2010-2014 progressive house starting with the pioneers before it all went too mainstream

No it isn't. Nervo are releasing a song with these vocals because they wrote them, but Avicii's team didn't allow them to use the instrumental so it's an entirely different song.

I wanted to scroll down to see what the comments were and I was expecting to roll my eyes at all the "mirrin" comments, but I was so delightfully surprised that everyone commenting appreciates his music the same way I do. Hope you're dancing away up there in heaven, Tim!

His music is so incredibly sad sounding in the most complex way--like modern day funeral songs. The "sad songs" of Pill in Ibiza. This song is like waves crashing on a lonely shoreline. Just listening to it, I'm surprised people didn't catch on to his issues.
I couldn't agree more. I always felt his songs are very sad even before he passed away. Now even more so...
I didn't felt this way that you explained in many tracks of him.. But if there's a track from Tim that I won't like to hear anytime, It is "Hope There's Someone" and "Waiting For Love". Both of this tracks seems TOO much melancholic. The first one, through the melodies you can feel that someone is trying to leave his fears behind, but that person in the end didn't ended well and had to "free itself" (If you know what I mean). The second one, in the same way, seems like a sacrifice of the "Ones who you love".
You can call me crazy, but that's how I look the eletronic music. Interstella 5555 from Daft Punk made me think how you can interpret any music.
I disagree, there's nothing sad about avicii's music, I've been listening to him since '14 and have his whole discography on hard drives, all his music has ever done was make me happy, even when he died i listened to his music and smiled, incredible man.

Only artist whose melodies speaks with his true fans. Sometimes it makes us cry and feel happy at the same time. I feel so bad for the people who listen his music and cant feel like this.
his pop influenced music boosted the electronic music up to a more accepted scene all around the world. he is a very big reason why the dance scene is what it is today. he influenced a lot of young talented artists just by doing what he did best. his legend will live on, but not only through his music, it will live on in our hearts, in the electronic dance genres and in other artists and fans.

Sorry to burst your bubble but this statement is false. Avicii was great but it was actually Swedish House Mafia that broke the barrier and led "EDM" into the mainstream. Tim's major influences were Axwell, Angello, Ingrosso ,Prydz and Daft Punk (nearly every mainstream dance producer is influenced by Daft Punk) a valid reference "www.quora.com/What-musicians-influenced-Avicii" (answered by Avicii himself). SHM were the first ever DJs to play and sell out a major US venue (Madison Square Garden) which then allowed the rest to follow. Now all State of the Art clubs in the US such as Vegas, LA etc. are now headlined by EDM artists which included Avicii. Even though these artist were mainstream and already big in Europe ultimately the US is the big fish that dictates music pop culture and how it's accepted across the world. I've been following dance music for 18 years across many different genres so not trying to bring a biased view but I like to state the facts.

Thanks for creating this channel; I have been suffering some for of adiction to Tim's mucsic and struggling with the idea that he is not alive. I search up his interviews and play his music and I felt like I was almost getting depressed. The realization that there are people who care about Tim like me. I am trying to help myself by thinking more logically and try to celebrate his life instead.
