Juicy J can’t make a verbal agreement regarding Three 6 Mafia samples because he only owns 50% of the publishing. He can’t speak on DJ Paul’s behalf. Even if the verbal agreement did happen, the sample clearance has to go through both of them. Based on DJ Paul’s interview on VladTV from 2 years ago, he was told they would reach out to clear the samples, but they never did.
