TXT are a really interesting group. They started out as a sort of stereotypical "cute" concept male idol group when they debuted, but have evolved their sound and image over the past several years to a more mature, almost rock-type vibe while still maintaining a k-pop feel. They are the only other group on the BigHit Music label aside from BTS (there is also the ballad singer Lee Hyun, who is a solo artist), and are often referred to as BTS's "little brothers". Despite this, they haven't allowed themselves to simply languish in BTS's shadows or tried to trail off their senior artists' fame. They've grown extraordinarily since their debut, and have even been invited to perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago for the past two years, where they were headliners this year.
There is a Korean rock band called The Rose with lead singer Woosung. His voice is incredible and considered one of the best.
So upset I am not going to get see them this year on US tour - I have to work the night they are close to me.
@@rjbirmingham they are coming near me to Atlanta but as part of a huge 3 day festival and I just don't want to pay the festival price to see them and be stuck in a huge crowd in Georgia humidity and sweat.

@@rjbirmingham I did fly from ATL to Las Vegas to go to BTS PTD last year, so anything is possible! I'm lucky so much kpop comes to Atlanta. I've seen Ateez twice! I wanted to see Kang Daniel, but missed him. And then I had a death in the family and missed Mamamoo. I did see Enhypen and SKZ and Blackpink. StubHub right before the concert is my best friend.

TXT has matured remarkably from their start as BTS's younger brothers catering to a fairly young crowd to a legitimately mainstream and sometimes edgy group which just headlined at Lollapalooza Chicago. Even their somewhat juvenile early work Cat and Dog was given new life with an exciting rework there. TXT is known for some very complex, cinematic and somewhat challenging mvs. Watching them with just a simple white background felt like a surrender to Western dial it in music video style where the spend, creativity and effort resides in the music and mvs often are skimpy. Check Coldplay with BTS My Universe to see how this need not be the case even when filming on two continents. Was this a Jona Bros creative decision?
I think it was a time restriction. TXT was/is busy doing other things, I mean the are already in the recording of their new album (who some suspect will come out this year), doing headlining of Lollapalooza, filming other content, touring. But the producer kinda came out recently and they wanted it to be ready as a summer song, so made a shortcut. Also Jonas Brothers were preparing for their own tour. So they all took an easy road that didn't need to much recording time, just plain background and the two groups.
I don’t think using the term “boy band” is wrong, but kpop fans usually use the terms “boy groups” and “girl groups” for Korean idol groups to differentiate them from the Korean idol bands that play their own instruments instead of dancing.
Oh, and an “idol” in this context is a music performer that upholds a perfect image and maintains a close connection with their audience. They’re basically celebrities that people can look up to. A lot of struggles go on behind the scenes to uphold that “perfect” image such as dieting and training, though. In fact, idol life is incredibly harsh.
I agree. Its not wrong to call them boy bands. Its just that the terms is different but it has like almost the same meaning. They are still a group of boys that makes them a boy band or boy groups or a idol group.

Thank you so much for reacting to TXT! TXT (Tomorrow x Together) is a boy group that tries many different genres, so each comeback is worth looking into!
Some songs from them I recommend are:
- 0x1= LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) Feat. Seori: This is when TXT started getting into their pop punk era and is amazing to hear live as the live vocals sound amazing
- LO$ER = LO♡ER: The prologue to 0x1 lovesong and is just as amazing, features a similar pop punk sound, and follows the same storyline as 0x1
-Sugar Rush Ride: Their latest Korean release, which includes a catchy whistle tune lol (the whole album in which this song was released in is worth listening to imo lol)
- Blue Hour: A disco-pop song that follows very whimsical and fantastical themes as they long to stay together for a little longer before the magic ends
- Crown: Their debut track back in 2019 which follows the storyline of a boy feeling left out/insecure as he starts to grow horns (a metaphor for puberty and growing up)

if you want to hear TXT's vocals, I'd suggest either Trust Fund Baby(slow song) or 20 Cm ( R&B vibes). Neither of them have MVs but they show their vocal talent very well.
4:48 Yes, that is true. What happened is that Ryan Tedder is the producer and he asked both groups if they wanna collab, it was an unexpected collaboration for both parts, but they were all excited for it. TXT were just about to fly back to Korea after their last U.S tour stop, so they didn't meet for filming the video, but they actually met the JB after recording the song and filmed some Tiktoks . I am sure one day they will perform it together!
Btw TXT has a very diverse discography, they have really good music. I recommend Loser=Lover, Farewell Neverland and Tinnitus ( afrobeats🔥🔥)

Like BTS, they are versatile and have created their own sound and have their own story arch to their music. Their fandom is called MOA. TXT headlined at the Chicago Lollapalooza this year. They have a lot of great songs that's worth checking out. Here are some of my favorites, Blue Hour, LO$ER=LOVER, Magic and Nap of a Star to start with.

I liked how you were surprised that you knew that hook. Btw TxT has a song Loser that I really like its not your typical "boy band" sound more Green Day less 98 Degrees. I think you will enjoy it. This group really tries to vary their sound like their big brothers BTS.
TXT werent able to film the mv with The JBs due to their tour schedule. However, they were able to film some videos during the recording process, with Ryan Tedder, together (which are, imo opinion, hilarious 😂)

The next collab song recommendation is My Universe. Cold Play Chris Martin traveled all the way to Korea during the pandemic and recorded My Universe with BTS which topped Bilboard Hot 100 the first week they released the song.

Yesss you should react to more TXT they have excellent music 👏🏾 This collab brought two of my worlds together and I loved it sm. Some songs I recommend by TXT 0x1=Lovesong, Sugar Rush Ride, Dear Sputnik, 20cm, Can’t You See Me? and Farewell Neverland. That’s just to name a few. TXT are super busy so they couldn't find time to record together
The reason why all the members of each group didn’t record in the same place was because TXT was on tour in the US for the month of May & had to return to Korea/Asia in June to continue their Sweet Mirage tour. They had received this song while on tour. I believe they completed all this with the Jonas Brothers in a very short time.
I saw TXT a few weeks ago at lollapalooza and it was so much fun to hear this song live.

For another K-pop group, I would recommend Mamamoo. They're a female K-pop group that is famous for their amazing vocal ability, even their rapper is an incredible singer. The video they did on "Killing Voice" is a great one to hear some different songs and really showcases how well they sing.
TXT is the only other group that I supported and their debut is the only one that I anticipated after BTS after Jin gave us a hint that their younger brothers are debuting. I was glad that I did because their debut song/album was a bop. They also have a lot more songs of other genres that I think you should listen to. Also, I hope you listen to My Universe by Coldplay and BTS, Bad Decisions by BTS and Benny Blanco is also good.

I consider myself an ARMY (BTS) and I like their little brothers (fr. Hybe), the TXT and Enhypen.
Since you see the TXT, might as well see Enhypen's ‘Bite Me’. something I recommend for a vocal group.

This song it a Ryan Tedder creation. You can actually watch the video of TXT at his place recording the vocals. I think at the end of that video you see them meeting The Jonas Brothers but yeah, I don’t think they were able to work together in the same room at the same time. I love TXT!
Also, I was thinking if you’re interested in K-pop girl groups you should check out New Jeans… you literally can’t go wrong with any New Jeans songs. They’ve only been out for about a year. They kinda have a small catalog of music. You could actually react to their music in chronological order and be caught up in no time.

TXT is a great group! I like many of their songs - Lover Loser, Anti-romantic. They have more of a rock vibe than many of the Kpop groups. A great collab was the BTS/Coldplay song My Universe. Another group that is from the same company is Enhypen - their song Bite Me is great.

I only recently got into TXT. I wish I'd done so sooner. They are BTS' little brother group after all. I love the songs: Frost (special performance video is SO GOOD), Good Boy Gone Bad, Devil By The Window (which is fully in English btw), Sugar Rush Ride, LO$ER = LO♡ER, Tinnitus (has this really nice beat)
Le Sserafim is a good girl group to check out too btw if you're interested in that. Unforgiven is my favorite song of theirs.

Actually, they did hang out, was in the studio together. They got videos and shorts and tiktoks of that. Just the MV was shot separately.
I actually love how older groups have learned to embrace the Boy Band label. Like NKOTB has whole Boy Band history lesson song called Boys In The Band (Boy Band Anthem) & the video has some cool cameos & feat. Plus Donnie Wahlberg has said that they are now more of a Man Band.

TXT are the little brothers of BTS. Same label. BTS mentored them & did a good job. Their early reactions together are adorable. TXT was star-struck. They are now successful on their own.
Please do not call TxT 'BTS Junior.' TxT had and still receives unbelievable hate for being the second male group at BigHit. BTS debuted in 2013, and TxT in 2019. That is a six-year gap, and yet the haters blame TxT for the audacity of daring to debut and stealing the money that BTS earned. Haters aren't logical and never make any sense. They just hate. TxT is a unique group in that they explore new genres every comeback. TxT just completed their second appearance at Lollapalooza, this time as headliners. TxT is the first Kpop group to be selected as brand ambassador for DIOR. As of 2022, TxT is one of only six groups that earned the Rookie Grand Slam status in the history of Kpop. TxT respect and love their BTS sunbaenim, but TxT are not BTS. They've got their own path to blaze, and TxT is brilliantly heading on their way to more successful endeavors.

TXT is well worth checking out in their own right! Their own music tends to be pretty experimental and genre-hopping. I have a very soft spot for their debut song "Crown" as well as later songs "0x1 Lovesong," "Opening Sequence," and "Farewell Neverland." Sometimes they lean towards a rock vibe, which is cool.
They've done a lot to distinguish themselves from BTS. The two groups have a great relationship - BTS members are determined that no one should have to be as lonely as they were - and a lot of mutual respect, and at the same time TXT really had to fight to not have their own hard work dismissed.
I think folks get it now though. Lollapalooza headliners. We're very proud of these boys. Also, behind the scenes they're adorable.
There's footage of them hanging with the Jonas Brothers & also a recording video - definitely worth checking out. The two groups really seemed to enjoy each other. And it's always fun to watch my favorite artists in studio, taking direction. Western producers generally love working with them - they're hard-working and take direction well (because that's how their industry works).
It's worth noting that the members of TXT and the members of BTS are very close and support each other wholeheartedly. BTS encouraged and advised TXT when they were trainees and rookies, and have watched very proudly as the younger boys came into their own. (This has not always been the case with senior groups in the same company, the competition level being what it is.) TXT themselves are also very encouraging towards *their* juniors, such as &Team. The fandoms, too, have very little rivalry between them; it's 'BigHit Family', and as such generally supportive; this is a bit unusual in K-pop.
BTS & Coldplay 'My Universe' is well worth a look if you're into collabs right now. The official mv is like a short movie with a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe. If you want it live, don't watch the official AMA version, it's not good. (Poor sound quality, and US camera operators haven't figured out how to film K-groups well yet.) Look for a fancam, or pick up the SoFi stadium version. BTS also did a cover of 'Fix You' with Coldplay's permission, that does complete justice to the original.
TXT stands for Tomorrow X Together & the (X) stands for By so the pronunciation is Tomorrow By Together , they are from the same label as BTS you should check out their songs too
Not only were they actually in the same place, the Jonas Brothers brought TXT into the project and produced the thing with them. There's tape out there where one of the brothers is introducing the song to them for the first time and directing them in how best to sing it. The boys seemed grateful for the tutelage. My first reaction to you handling an artist other than BTS. Very well done! Recommend you try two other of their tracks. First, is their most recent hit 'Sugar Rush Ride.' (There are a couple of 'anti-drops' in it that are absolutely delicious!) Second, listen to and WATCH their debut song from years ago called 'Crown.' It is absolutely mandatory you do this by watching their dance practice version! Never in life have I seen a group of stripling youth absolutely nail such a complex choreography while also singing (have seen them so that very choreography on stage!) (Problem with watching the music video is that it's a bit too cartoony for my tastes and you almost entirely lose the thread of their choreography.)
Hey MR. Crazy... what great info. Had no idea. All I really had to go on was my eyes. There is video footage of a Jonas Brother behind the piano calling out each TXT member to work on their specific vocals for this song with them. He tutors them throughout. Suggests changes to how they attack different word phrases, to which they enthusiastically adhere. So that Jonas brother seems to have done some of the production, at least. This info even folds into your narrative, if you think about it. 1. Song written by Ryan Tedder for TXT; check, this explains why TXT was given this song. Ryan Tedder brought in Jonas brothers into it because he thought they, too, would fit the song; check there, too, and it explains why how the Jonas Brothers joined the project. So here's where I may be in error... does Mr Tedder look like a Jonas Brother? I could have sworn that was a Jonas brother behind the piano. Please write back. I can't find that original clip I watched, and I'd really like to know who was helping each of the TXT members out while playing the piano: Mr Tedder or a Jonas Brother?

TXT is one of my favourite Kpop groups. I just love that every Kpop group does something different. They are able to mix different genres together and even make their albums diverse, with many different genres featuring on one album. Kpop group are also able to put effort into not just the song but the music video and performance all together. Some say that Kpop is just cheesy pop but when you really look deep into it. It is much more than just pop. Other groups I recommend is Stray Kids, Ateez, Blackpink, Seventeen, Twice, enhypen, exo and more BTS. One song that is definitely recommended is Fake Love by BTS, also if you are looking for any performances from BTS, MMA’s 2019 is a good one. Also if you want to know more about BTS, you could check out the introduction to BTS on CZcams by Taylor. If you want to hear more from TXT, There song Crown, Good Boy Gone Bad and Sugar Rush Ride. Crown is a good example of their old sound, while the other two which show more of their recent sound. You can definitely see the change in their style.

I love TXT & the Jonas Brothers so i was happy about this. TXT are the only other boy group under BigHit Music which is apart of Hybe Labels which is filled with alot of talented artists.
Also Listen to their song, "Tinnitus" ~ a little gem! While TxT are known as BTS' "little" brothers, they are on average the tallest group as 3 out of the 5 of them are 6 feet tall or more.

I was a little let down by them not filming together too, but they did meet in person! If you want to see something with a budget, look up TXT's videos- they are all like mini movies. They're on the same label as BTS but very different vibes.
Seriously, if you want some vocal powerhouses, you can't go wrong with Mamamoo. They have a lot of fun MVs, but I'd suggest starting with their Dingo medley, just to get a feel for how good they are live and get a little taste of their discography 😁

I'm ARMY through and through, but also enjoy their little brothers, TXT, ENHYPEN, and the Japanese group &TEAM. &TEAM is the youngest and debuted recently. I really enjoy their song, Road Not Taken. Their vocals and dancing are also amazing. They look up to BTS and BTS members have been good role models for them.

If you want to discover different kpop artists I definitely recommend the ROSE. They are not a boys group but a rock band of four who all can sing. But Woosung has a distinctive amazing vocals.
As a producer you should check "Lie" of Jimin, but live performance. A masterpiece. Genius.
I fought falling into the TXT rabbit hole for the longest cuz I have my plate full btwn NKOTB & BTS but when this dropped I finally caved cuz I love this energy. There is tiktoks of all 12 guys together though so we did that content. But I suggest watching both TXT Lollapalooza stages from a reg stage 2022 & their headline stage from this yr.
