I am glad that the song have reached the mass audience though Bollywood but hate the fact that the song I have been enjoying for couple of years only had 11M views had more than 28M views in 24 hours through Bollywood movie promo. I guess power of Bollywood dictates the popularity of the pop/folk songs now but I am still thankful that the authenticity of the song still was kept intact by not making any major changes to the original song. Part of me just wishes the era of the pop/folk songs of late 90s comes back and takes over the Bollywood remake trends soon.

I heard this song because of the girl I loved, no longer with her but I can't stop myself from listening to this song nor can I stop myself from relating her to this song. It is a vicious cycle, I hope things get better soon and I can come back and listen to this song without my heart breaking.
To me lyrics has deep sadness to it and at the same time music has happy tones. It sketches case of unrequited love. It portrays like the narrator is saying to them "You have touched deepset parts of my soul - how do I let you go? Why were we not meant to be together?"
