    One thing this video does not mention is that John II Casimir Vasa was still claiming the throne of Sweden as his birthright, his father Sigismund III Vasa had been the King of Sweden before being deposed by his uncle back in 1599. Charles X Gustav had just been made King the year before he invaded the Commonwealth, and as the founder of the new royal dynasy of Palatinate-Zweibrücken he needed to get rid of other Vasa claimants to strengthen his legitimacy on the throne.

    Great reaction and will be fun in the next episode to see Poland so everything to survive. Sweden will still have a few more wins tho. In Sweden this war actually ended quite well for us and in a very unique event but you’ll see that in the next episode I think.
