This is the most brilliant moment of the On Cinema story. I get chills watching Greg fade in and out while Wendy flashes her big smile and sings such an upbeat song and everyone runs around. And then I laugh when the hobbit graphic comes up. It's truly a work of art. David Lynch would love this. The HEI life is a nightmare world that Greg and Tim both can not escape.

You know I actually discovered On Cinema when Dunkey played Oscar Fever on his stream Now I realize that his constant use of that same hobbit picture is probably a reference and he’s been a fan for a long time
Could Steve Winwood ever have imagined that his song might someday manifest itself this way, playing over a haunting moment of confusion and anguish guest-starring Joe Estevez? Somehow I think not.
The complexity of actually planning, designing and performing these specials totally blows my mind - especially this one with the dual stream format. I have no idea how they all do this without breaking character every 2 minutes... I have nothing but admiration for Tim and Gregg and the whole team behind these specials. Absolutely outstanding.
When I first saw clips of Wendy Kerby, I thought Tim had hired some oblivious young starlet to make fun of her. I was relieved when I did a little Googling and found out that she was a fictional character played by a talented actress.

heard some old guy named stevie nicks or whatever's cover of this wendy kirby classic. not a huge fan of his version. the music industry could learn from hollywood and not touch classics unless they're actually going to improve them.
