An old reaction for a not so new year...gonna be plenty of these in the near future (๑ ˊ͈ ᐞ ˋ͈ )ƅ̋
Now the one thing I will say about 2016 song releases is that quite a lot of them featured more instrumental based choruses rather than singing and Hard Carry is no exception.
If you'd ask me a couple years back if I'd give this song another listen, I'd plain out say "No" and that it was "Not my style" but through 2016 my taste in music has been shifting ever so slightly that I'm beginning to find appeal in these kinds of songs.
However if I'm going to be honest after giving this song a couple of listens, I realize I don't dislike it but it's not something I'd go out of my way to listen to constantly unlike some of their previous releases. Something's missing from it to really pull me in but as said, I don't know what.
I still do stand by my opinion that the MV was awesome, their wardrobe was awesome in that chaotic but causal way and the backdrops were lovely. And to the song's credit it really did match the atmosphere and dance of the vid, so I can't complain.
They'd be dropping a follow up to this song(I would like to believe) soon so I shall wait with high hopes.
