This couldn't have come at a better time. I got to this mission a week ago and stopped about halfway. Haven't been back since.

Somebody has said this before, and I'll say it again: you play like how I imagine these characters would actually act in the universe of the game. You bring the deadly abilities of characters like Soap to life.

I would love to see an entire gameplay of him doing all the missions because only then i can feel the true immersion there.
How are these deadly abilities if he just blindly learns the route. Zero awareness, zero active stealth. In most cases it's just patterns followed, predicting everything to perfection
I disagree. The way to play this mission is without a gun. There is a complete stealth way to play it without firing a single shot. As well as playing on realism
Stealth is not for everyone, it's not just a gameplay, it's an art and StealthGamerBR™ is the artist.
It's more a skill, art comes through creativity his clips have.
Like to see how SGBR's gameplay compares to GLID (gamer/British Royal Navy veteran). Would be interesting to see what tactics a genuine soldier uses against an entire army compared to an expert player.

8:26 One thing that always stuck with me is how the Shadow’s talk about 141… really gives you an idea of how respected/feared they are to everyone who knows them.
I agree they should be feared they were hand selected by price himself for their deadly talents
I also found them confusing Soap for a leprechaun much funnier than I probably should've

When I played this mission, I just knew this is something you could not resist
The best part of these games before MWIII was that it felt so real. You were in situations that the military could be in. You're with the team, and you play so tactically and communicate with your squad. Such a marvelous game. And portraying the armed people as a heavy threat when unarmed. Fucking amazing.
Me and my daughter absolutely loved the campaign and she's not big on cod. They did a great job on this one👏

They did, didn't they? I wasn't big on COD, but this one was too good to pass. Has some flaws, but it's far better than the rest.
I liked what they did in this game with the stealth missions and it was fun twist on the usual shooting missions, but holy hell the wallhacks some of the enemies have makes it so annoying
Frrrr that mission you do with price in the chillin suits when you infiltrate that big ass compound. When you’re on your own and the cartel comes looking for you, I could not get past that part because no matter where I was they would see me and immediately melt me down
Yeah its when they make stealth missions in a game that dosent have the mechanics for it but tries their best to make it fun with enough scripting to the AI and the map environment and by taking your time
Ghost and Soap same all revoke Phillip Graves, just like Timothy Dalton aka James Bond in 1989 Licence to kill for what agents custody done to 007.
i hope it doesnt happen like in Battlefield, where every mission was the same stealth shit

Yeah but ww2 cutscenes are just so realistic it’s incredible especially for a game from 2017

I wouldn't say realistic since there's like 5 times where Soap would have gotten killed in the first cutscene, but they are definitely well directed.
I know right compare the last 20 years of Call of Duty games to now
They look pre rendered. So maybe that's why.

it shows his enemy pathing knowledge so well that it makes it look like this mission was a minor inconvenience for Soap

This and Gaz's breach and clear mission is the best missions in the game. Just the right blend of freedom with how you approach the situations and the general CoD campaign formula.

These videos genuinely are closer to cinema than gameplay
The hardest MWII mission (in my opinion), but it really makes it feel like og CoD and the sheer tension, combat, tactics and stealth narute is what makes it stand out not just from the campaign but from all CoD missions overall. I played on Veteran and it was hella frustrating finishing it, but the structure and dialog during the mission gave it life and excitement, despite how difficult it was. Honestly, CoD needs more mission like these because they actually make you feel like you're an Operative and being hunted by soldiers who are out to kill you. Not even mentioning the amount of characteristics and personality Soap and Ghost get through the mission's dialogue

One of my favorite missions from MWII, I like how simple it is, simply surviving and being resourceful with the little supplies that’s around you.

@@mr.cook5 I get what you mean but I do think I can be done correctly obviously it’d be hard to do but it could be done i like to dream cod has always been my favorite fps and I’ve played all but advanced warfare and cold wars campaign cause I love the campaigns I just wish for a full length like 50 hour single player campaign they could make the missions a lot longer and flesh out the story a lot more personally I’d like it I understand how it’d get repetitive tho and be boring quickly so it’d need to be done properly

Some of the shadows didn’t even agree on what happened. In some parts you can hear them questioning themselves on why they just betrayed 141
