I love our good law enforcement officers, but I have said that if an officer wrights someone a citation even tho' they had everything in place to show that they are within the "law" (rules), then said officer should be penalized and made to pay the amount of the bogus citation they gave out due to the fact that they didn't do their job properly. I believe that would be a really good teaching tool for officers. Not hating, just statin'. lol.
Don't use "said" that way when you still don't know the word "writes".

Puddin goes to court? Weren’t you a criminal defence lawyer in NY. Please do an episode in court. This will be fun to watch. In Canada we call ticketing offences or citations summary offences and their tried in magistrates court.
Hers one. Im in business. Selling knives , pocket, hunting,throwing. This cop comes and takes knives. Says they are prohibited. No they were not. Even after another cop told him assisted openers are ok the cop came back the next season and took those. Charged me twice. Cost me 15 grand for lawyer to fight n get both charges dropped !! And 3 yrs of stress n grief.
What did it cost that cop in the wrong? Nothing!

Ticket happy cops and meter maid enforcers do not bother checking. It is nothing to them that you have to chase up and dispute a wrongful ticket. Knowing that some people will just pay up rather than spend hours calling during the appeal process and lose wages taking time off work to attend court. With extra charges parking during that court time so most will lose out just by disputing it. Plain wrong on so many levels.
If you look closely at the citation you’ll see that their tag has been expired for over a year. Hard to chalk that one up to a officer being “ticket happy”. Since people have noticed that they have apparently taken that video down.

Awesome fishing adventure. An unnecessary ticket is no match for the retired legal team, but it's annoying that time has to be wasted on a citation that shouldn't have been issued.
That ticket also states the tag expired in year 12/21?

You don't have to fillet them, but you do have to be sure to get all the "chrome" off before you eat it!
I've caught ribbon fish at the Jax pier and people come running off the tee offering money for them to use as live Kingfish bait.

Whoever wrote that ticket should be fired. It wasn't a mistake it was deliberate and either they never bothered to look or just hoping the ticket will be paid rather then the person has to waste their time going to court. Its straight up crooked unethical behavior and certainly not the first time that person has done it. GET RID OF THEM!!!

I've told you I grew up in Pinellas County FL. This is why I left. Florida has no state income tax. Tickets and probation/parole fees (being on paper) is Florida's income! They will hunt you down, and ride you till you break down emotionally. They will constantly remind you that if you're not FDLE, you are subject to their ever changing Nazi rule. The final straw for me was one of their edicts is " The homeless are a blight on their tourism.", And I ran a homeless outreach. Me and my mission, we're literally harassed out of the state. True fact: I haven't gotten so much as a ticket since I left. The worst police are out of Pinellas Park. Sorry for your bad luck, if would've been me, I'd be under the jail. Your tag expired over a year ago….. if you get pulled over on a public street you’ll likely get towed.
Where do you folks come up with this stuff? Nobody gets towed over an exp reggie, it is registered, I put the sticker on the wrong vehicle so I'm waiting for a new one. People don't even get towed over switched plates, which is an actual crime. Source: Me/Brian, attorney over two decades including ticket defense
