I think it’s beautiful. I’ve never done squares, I’m somewhat new to diamond art. I’ve completed 3 paintings and 2 weren’t that good. Small and pixally. Landscapes that should have been larger if I’d only knew about this before I bought them. Live and learn

I checked the reviews on DD and they were 5 ⭐️’s across the board! I don’t worry about size because I just focus on one section at a time and it often goes faster than I anticipated - especially with all that color blocking. This image is not my cup of tea, but I can see how it appealed to you. I think it would be fun to work on and stunning when completed. This reminds me, I need to get back to my Alissa Kari squares 60x80. Yeah, it’s BIG, but doesn’t feel so big. The canvas is called It’s Party Time.
I work in sections as well, I think I’m just avoiding big kits after doing that huge J Wall!! Thanks for sharing!!
Let it go. Stick with the ones you just love! My experience with DD squares was okay but not great. I'd have to be crazy about an image before I'd do another square from them.💜🧚🏼♀️💜

I feel like you need to let it go. I’m working on a smaller DD squares and they are trashy and gappy, I think it’s an older one, once the drills are laid down, it is stunning! But it has me second guessing their squares. I think if I purchase from them again it will either be round or only “new”.
I guess I just need to do a square and see how it goes. I’m not worried about sorting trash drills, but I definitely did not like the gapping. Thanks for sharing!!

I am in the same boat. When I first started Diamond Painting, I only bought DD. That was 3 years ago. I have Paintings that I am not sure if I want to do because of square drills as they have been upgraded since then. I struggled with the square ones I did. Their round drills have been great for me. Go with your gut feeling

I guess I’m not so picky because I love working on Dreamer Designs squares. They are almost the same as DAC’s old drills. No company has zero trash consistently. IF you get drills from the top of the barrel for every color then maybe you will have close to zero trash. It’s luck really. I have this canvas in my stash. Can’t wait o get to it because it’s so pretty. You will have easy access to Dreamer Designs in Canada right? I think they have warehouse up there for domestic shipments. If you don’t love it destash it.
The only square I’ve done of theirs had a lot of black and white, so I may be letting that experience color my choice when I shouldn’t. It is a pretty picture. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve never had any problem with any of the round or square drills in the Dreamer Designs. They’ve always been great. They just don’t offer the 20% extra drills that DAC does. I’ve gotten close a few times, but never actually run out:)

I am a collector of Tarot decks. Ciro has produced some of my favorites. So for me it is a keep... I have it in my stash. But you aren't super enthusiastic so I say let it go and do one that you really are excited about. 😀

The same thing happened with my DD stickers. They got stuck to the inside of the fabric bag it came in.

I did aDD from 2023 and the squares were not great. Only way I would do a square from them if it is a brand new kit

I would keep it but put washy tape underneath the green and then cut off the bottom so the picture would be a lot smaller

Yeah I like the top of the picture but the green on the bottom doesn't seem to match the top very well. The top is very cartoon-ish but the bottom almost looks to be realism? Maybe it's hard to cut off the trees without loosing the look of the floating island but cutting if off isn't a very bad idea

I feel the same way about square drills. I am working on an 80 x 60 square canvas just to see how long it will take.😮 fortunately it's a DAC.

I’ve had crappy square drills from both premium and budget companies. To me, it is just a roll of the dice. I have more trouble with squares than round. I now refuse to purchase a canvas if it doesn’t come in rounds.

Oh wow, Where are your squares? I just wonder. Squares take more work and a turning the wrist it’s a little more work but you get used to it in time. Personally, if you ask me I say leave everything in circles. That’s how I roll

I've haven't done DD yet but would at least try one of each. I've only done 2 DAC and very disappointed on the arm tattoo (square), even on such a large picture it can't be read 😖
Artdot's was too slick, wrinkled corner I cant get out no matter all the tricks I've learned and ran out of 2 drills.

I say let it go. You didn’t seem very enthusiastic about it. Also, if you aren’t in love with it then you may never get the urge to do it. Plus, the unknown of the drills on such a large canvas would make me nervous. Hope this helps!😊

I like the colors, but, I am personally not a huge fan of the image. Looks like it would be pixelated. You don’t seem too enthused about this one. I would let it go.

You don't sound very enthusiastic. I would let it go. I have done a couple 60x80 Square Dreamer Designs - 310 was trashy but all other colours were great. So I just avoid squares with tons of 310 now.

Let it go. Trust me - you will be struggling with the gaps and trash. You won’t enjoy the process. DD squares do not bring joy to diamond painting.
