Man. I have definitely learned a lot from your videos over the course of the past year. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. They are extremely well done and informative.

I always learn something from your videos. I have a call in to the owner of the jet ski junkyard about 62T series Yamaha engines. Waiting on a response.

I understand that as a professional you wouldn't want to send that back to a customer but it would be usable at that level of repair?

Can you use vinegar as the acid? What size hone did you use for your job? Is it the same size as the bore smaller bigger as you took off did you increase size in hone and what grit?

It would need to be muriatic acid. Any time you hone something, you make the hole bigger ( the main thing is if it cleans up before it's too big), the rigid hone we use ranges from 2.5"-6"

do You think flushing my engine with 10 % muriatic Acid and 90 % engine oil for about 10 mins would clean and not damage my engine? What is the highest concentration You'd go for?

Definitely don't do that. Muriatic acid dissolves aluminum. Unless you're riding in the ocean, your engine gets a good flush ever time you ride in the lake.

Can the scuffed pistons be reused?

damaged pistons are junk. I have heard stories of peaople sanding them ( which makes them smaller and increases piston to wall clearance) ect... pistons are a wear items when damaged they are junk

Yes it will BUT if the plating is damaged you need to replate
