I can see Zhia tries to be perfect in conveying the nuance of each note putting her utmost energy into every detail. She is the master in expressing the feeling. Very emotional in good sense. I enjoyed it.

(and also to the end of the movement) I don't know how to receive it, this is so far from the standards .... strange articulations, uncommon pauses and respirations, but living in a quite heavenly atmosphere .... but who cares about what I'm feeling ? The important thing here is not the emotionnal or the "inspirational" element, but this incredible concentration and respect, love, for this legendary Brahms Concerto. And this is visible on the faces of all the female members of the orchestra .... (typically Korean) the best archers in the world. A very great nation.
19:31 but, the most important thing, under the apparent technical and esthetical purity, under this, but not very far, a heat, a burning volcanic and tremendous emotion, made of tension and pain, irrational and self-devastating ............ bravo ! Typically Brahmsian.
I think it's an abridged version of the Kreisler Cadenza. Also, the purpose of the cadenza is not only to be difficult but also to highlight the soloist's attributes and let them shine. I think it did both very well. Please don't write negative comments when they are uncalled for...
Alles nur nachempfunden, nachgemacht, nichts neues! Ich kann beim besten Willen keine Asiaten anhören. Alles zu glatt zu soft. Sehr sauber und technsich wie gewohnt ziemlich perekt, aber absolut ohne Seele!
@@Fritz_Maisenbacher Ja, aber nur die ersten paar Minuten, länger konnte ich mich nicht wach halten! Das Orchester ist ja auch eine langweilige Katastrophe. Wie gesagt. Keine Asiaten! Vergleiche mal,- nur zum Vergleich- Augustin Hadelich, oder noch besser Maxim Vengerov. Der Unterschied ist so spürbar. Bei den Asiaten läuft alles so aalglatt ab. Die Westlichen Musiker setzen deutlich mehr Akzente. Man spürt die Musik. Nicht so bei den Asiaten. Sie sind und bleiben nur perfekte Nachahmer. (Auch nur am Rande bemerkt. Kein westlicher Musiker würde sich anmaßen chinesische Lautenmusik auf einer original chinesischen Laute (Pipa) öffentlich in einem Konzert zu spielen und so frech zu sein, auch noch mit Chinesen zu konkurieren!)

I think she does a respectable job playing it. I may agree the cadenza in itself is not the most pleasant.
