G&G obsession on reinventing the wheel when it comes to firearm aesthetic has been baffling for me. There was a time where G&G was where I went to for authentic airsoft guns, their SG 55X series was excellent, as was the AK5C, then someone at G&G had their wire crossed and decided to not do new "real" guns anymore. If this was a proprietary system, they should have saved it for a rifle model yet to be replicated so they won't be competing with the hugely saturated market that is AR GBBRs against likes of VFC, GHK or TM.
Agreed. Seems like most of the Taiwan based manufacturers are like that. Whether it be aesthetics, and/or internals being proprietary. ICS, KWA, Krytac, G&G. At least King Arms usually sticks to producing replicas with normal guts.

I like the 45 degree, it allows to quickly switch to auto and semi for quick burst skillful offensive entries and back to semi for more accurate finishes
This is an interesting addition to the GBBR space but I would still stick with an MWS-based GBBR because of the good after-market support. MWS is becoming the de facto standard in this space so there needs to be a compelling reason to purchase a proprietary system. G&G hasn't made a case for buying their proprietary system.
For 3 years I’ve been constantly in contact with G&G and have requested parts from them with no issues. Regarding the mgcr they had backorder issues. As of now i’ve ordered nozzles 2 times with no issues in the past 2 months and bolts assemblies (got them to have the different valves with different output if I go CQB or outdoors). With those orders I also ordered many many other parts. Took one week to get home. So far Imve had an easier time getting parts for the mgcr than my vfc mp7
@@Raptor5191 i usually go with a very polite email, “hello team, i would need help/was wondering if /etc” straight to the point with a screenshot of the parts I need and with the precise part number I need. I usually time my emails to be on their working hours, they are in Taiwan so usually send my emails around 11pm my local time. Also, check your spam, I’ve had a few communications get lost in there.
it works like a g&g should work-f-ing good. all my g&g aeg's are my camry's you can turbo or supercharger a Camry so they can be turned into good performers. im so excited I think I'm going to get one. I just got my 1st 2 gbbr's, a de noveske and VFC ump and since then every aeg except my 13:1 arp and my brushless predator are going toward trades on gbbr's. goodbye krytacs and mp5 Avalon and this will be one I get I'm just a g&g fanboy. great video!! cheers
I'd rather keep new players away from this gun and stick with something else until G&G can make spare parts readily available for players. Had a coworker buy this thing only to fail in a week before I found out the nozzle was broken. Tried contacting G&G for spare parts only to tell us "the parts are on backorder" then completely ignore us afterwards with no updates. Stick with the MWS because this is just a mess trying to obtain spare parts, if any at all.
I love the cnc look and new stock. I only use the g&g candy tube stocks but with no tube so they look more like braces so if you haven't seen somebody with one it truly makes for the best looking stock in the business. check it out I'm sure you at least wont hate it because it doubles how good a reg gos v-2 looks. plus the mag release and bolt release big chunky cnc goodies are dreamy a.f.!! I put cnc ones on all my krytacs and extends on charging handles I love the cnc bits on everything . my prince Albert is a.....nevermind. just kidding. its a handsome gbbr for sure. the grip would would be removed on the way home while I am driving I hate it so much. its a 416 looking thing to me and has to business on a g&g. its definately pts time bitches!!! I think its great and I love a 12" I actually would prefer this to by my only 13.5 if they made it since my 25 lvoa handguard was sacrificed for a pts m-lok that's shorter. im left with no carbine length anything except my ..oh sorry again. well cheers
Seriously, how can you not have access to the bb's you recommend when you are a world famous airsoft shop? You're promoting a product you sell but can't be bothered to use the correct ammo? On a brighter note, this seems like a more affordable option to the TM MTR16, I have one and it's my favourite rifle of over a 100 in my collection.
@@jerichosa5733 Try googling a nozzle for an mgcr. Then have 101techUSA (G&G's parts distributor for us US based players) tell you they don't have any spares in stock or its on "backorder". Getting spare parts has been abysmal.

I guess a normal toolless hopup was too mainstream. Of course they had to overcomplicate it to make it proprietary, very dificult to adapt to a longer / shorter barrel, tool-dependant with horrible ergonomics (having to go to the end of the barrel). Jesus christ talk about giving engineering jobs to idiots...

G&G will go to great lengths to make anything that’s a replica of a real gun look CRAZY UGLY.
And I hate how staunch and stubborn they are about it.

Looks Like this will be my first GBB in the future, and I'm going to Clone the same gun that was used by James Reese from the Terminal List.

nozzle broke and my local store literally got 2 replacement nozzles from g&g for me and the new guide pieces prob took like 2 weeks
