The Vienna Game is one of my favourite openings and hasn't featured on the channel in a while so as the rapid rating climb becomes a bit of a lunge back towards 2000 ELO, I decide to see if the Vienna Game is still viable at this higher level and it did not disappoint.

Isn’t Bxf7 trap the queen? Bxf7 Kd8 d4 and you’ll play Rg3 trapping the queen next. Black have a move but I don’t see how they can save the queen.

Correction: After 4.Qf3 he does not have Nd4 because 5.Qxf7 and mate on f8.

Hello my first comment here at 9:21btw Bishop takes f7 and Rook to g3 on the next move traps the queen right?? Am I crazy or is the queen actually trapped??
Edit: oh I missed queen to h6 and d4
