Pro tips to succeed this project: Save time from what we learned making this!
1) Allow enough drying time each step
2) Choose sturdy legs (our final design used legs made from thick terracotta pots)
3) Use a smoothing compound at the end to get a very flat surface
4) Seal with transparent matte varnish

Where do you buy this type of concrete?

We can buy aerated concrete slabs at our big hardware shops (we live in France) You can check with your local store that sells building materials - it’s more light weight than standard concrete - people often use it to make DIY kitchen cabinets - Hope this helps 😍

Bonjour ce sont des blocs de béton cellulaire - nous avons acheté 2 qui s emboîtaient et 2 autres sans « emboîtage » à cause des disponibilités dans les dimensions voulues pour notre table - nous les avons trouvés chez Leroy Merlin mais beaucoup de grandes surfaces de bricolage les vendent.
