why is there only 8 late models for feature
only 8 late Models showed up
Surprised only 8 lates showed up for $3000.00 , there must have been other shows competing for cars ? Sucks when that happens .
not too surprising. Pot money only means so much here. Most cars have sponsors that demand their ads be seen. If this track isn't well known enough to draw a large crowd or give the winner any reputation then those sponsors may require the driver to drive on a more reputable track, even if the pot is lower. Sponsors pay the bills, pot money is a nice bonus.
@@Grisbane after I wrote that , we had a huge payout here at a track in Michigan in 2021 , 33 cars showed up . The payout was a staggering 33 THOUSAND dollars , yes Thirty Three Thousand Dollars to win ! It was not a Lucas Oil or W.O.O. race , but an annual event that has been run for 33 years . It is called the Wood Tic 100 , at Merritt Speedway on Aug. 6th , 2021 . I figured they would get 60 plus cars for that kind of money but Nope. I am thinking this year will be 34k to win , who knows how many will show up ?
