- After Wrestlemania 14, the WWF Championship retired the Winged Eagle Belt design in favor of the Big Eagle/Attitude Era Belt. Today, let's look back at the history of this belt from March 30, 1998 until its retirement on April 1, 2002.

I plan on doing one for the IC Title from its run with the Oval Belt Design, even though that’ll take some time because of that being a 13-year period to take a lot of notes for.
It's called the "block logo" or the "Scratch logo" for BE belt.

The block logo has been removed from TV because Part of the belt broke and hit stone cold in the face.
The First Big Eagle belt with the old school wwf block logo and blue strap was the best wwf/wwe world championship title belt EVER made in my opinion. Don't get me wrong the screaming eagle belt was better to the degree in design, but not in size scaling than the Big Eagle was, so by default, I give the edge to Big Eagle. The blue strap and size put it over for me.
The reason why the Belt was redesigned after only a few months, is because one night Vince took a stone cold stunner and the belt actually cut him really badly. So WWF told the makers to smooth out some of the sharper points in the belt and change it to the scratch logo!
