I have been learning French for quite some time. Until I watched your tutorials, I had the impression that I know almost every topic you teach. What I knew was everything so cloudy. You cleared up all clouds and made me extremely clear on every topic.
Mam, tu expliques vraiment très bien les concepts français
J'aime tes enseignements

You're an incredible teacher, keep it up!
I found this topic really difficult but after I saw your video it made me really easy to understand and my concept are really cleared thankyou ma'am
This video is really very helpful and i think the best video on CZcams to understand plus que parfait.
Maam cn u make a video exercise like this where we hv to choose between passé composé, imparfait and plus que parfait in the same paragraph.
It would be very helpful. Thanks.
The way mam says "okay"
I finally understood this topic. Thank you ma’am🙏🏾
Thanks ma'am 😊😊😊👍👍👍
Very clear and precise presentation. Thank you, professor.
you're 2nd to none! thank-you
Thank you Ma'am
Very very helpful
Ma'am
It's kind a confusing where to use passe compose , imparfait, le plus que parfait . In one sentence for example
C'(etre) ______ dimanche ,il( faire)_____ beau et, avec mon frère, (nous ne pas avoir)______ grand chose à faire alors nous (aller)_____ nous promener au borde la mer.
How to identify where to use passe, imparfait, le plus que parfait
Moi aussi 😓..
I think I know :- était ( we are describing an action in past ) , faisait (same reason), n'avions pas (because that action is non terminating) sommes allés ( because this action is terminating)
Ma'am, your explanation quality is awesome and very impressive
Teaching skill is fantastic,
Staying in Algeria near France,

Your a great teacher!! 😀👍👍
I never knew you feminise and pluralise the endings. I always knew Italian does in this same stricture but that's another story for another day. There's always something new to learn. Thanks for showing me something new.

Mam last m étudier wali verb toh avoir k according conjugate hoani thi na toh ans toh avait and étudié ana tha? Mam please mera doubt clear kijiye
maam pls upload a video on pronom possessif
Maam I am watching the video.in 2020.it is literally amazing
Do we totally use plus que parfait to explain a situation or action that happened before passé composé....for ex- i had done this , we had , i hadn't think much at that time... or do we also use imparfait to describe ?
Imparfait is also used, if action was in continuity
Lady Indu, you work as an engineer of the words. Looking each word as the structure of the phrase. Good work, i guess you must talk more than four languages since you have this unique view. Anyway, thanks for this amazing class!
Great video! Clear and easy to understand.
Hi , etudier verb is not the pronominal and the moving verb right? Then why you used etait instead of avait in the last example.
You are great
Merci pour cette vidéo
Bien madam .....aurevoir
Hello ma'am...Ur skills are crisp and explainatory too...I watched this video uncountable times...i understood it as well...but pls tell....While framing sentences in Plus Que Parfait the first part of fillups where u decide whether conjugation will be of etre or avoir how u do it...U first write initials Etre or Avoir and later conjugations.....
Question is Simple ...how we know we shd use Etre or Avoir ...
Most verbs construct the plus-que-parfait using avoir, however être is used as the auxiliary verb in the following cases:
with 14 verbs of motion and staying still:
naître/mourir,
aller/venir,
monter/descendre,
arriver/partir,
entrer/sortir,
apparaître, rester, retourner, tomber and their related forms such as: revenir, rentrer, remonter, redescendre, repartir.
Merci ma'am
Such an awesome explanation in layman's language.. Cleared my concept in just 16mins 😍👌🏼.. I'm your fan madame (je suis ton fan madame) 😊😇
Abhishek kumar votre not ton

Nice Indu
The last example was a bit challenging 😉 mais c'est bon, merci infiniment.
like you said that « préparer » is always conjugated with avoir amd same with « gagner »
i didnt get that
how do you know if its gonna be être or avoir
like DrMrsVandertramp
is there any other list for that too
thats pretty difficult cuz
No other list is there...
Mam can you please make a video on keys for temps convienables
Sure...
how do we differentiate between passe compose and plus que parfait?
Passé composé is one time action, and Plusque parfait is past continuous tense
mam i u weren't there i would have failed my exam😅
How we got to know whether it will conjugate with etre or avoir
I'm a student from Swiss and I learn French as a school subject! Do Indian students also learn french as a school subject?
It's not compulsory, it's an optional language in many schools- We are generally asked to choose one extra language.
@@Manya.Prakash Thank you very much for your answer. Here in Switzerland, students learn English, French, Italian and German. Other languages are also offered such as Latin, Ancient Greek, Russian, Arabic, Chinese. . . .
@@MyColourPage That's amazing! We mainly have option between French, German, Sanskrit and regional languages, in some privileged states there are more options...but learning online is always accessible so it isn't much of an issue. It was really nice talking to you, i have heard the obvious great things about Switzerland.
I am learning Korean too...it's not easy to learn any language...wishing you best of luck for leaning French!
@@Manya.Prakash Thank you very much!
Hello ma'am, love your videos, but I do have a doubt. What happens if there's deja in the sentence?
Consider déjà for plusque parfait
@@FrenchLessonsbyIndu thank you so much ma'am :)
perfect
ma'am how will we solve mixed bag of plus que parfait, passe compose and imparfait
Passe compose expresses finished actions in the past. For example : " Je suis allée à la maison. ( I went to the house). J'ai mangé un gâteau. ( I eat the cake). The action is complete and finished.
L'imparfait tense expresses ongoing actions in the past. For example :" Quand j'etais petit j'adorais courir "
( When I was small I loved to run)
Plus-que parfait is the Past tense that expresses 2 actions that happened in the past, one before another. For example : " Elle avait fini ses devoirs quand ses parents sont arrivés ". ( She finished her home tasks when/before her parents arrived).
Thanks a lot
Please come back
How mam last sentence is getting conjugated with etre verb?
Actually you should have added double p in vandertrampp because we have passer verb in etre after partir isn't that right
why do you think she wrote pronominal verbs after drs. mrs. vandertramp?
please do an explanation video of direct indirect speech in french
Sure..
tu ne manques jamais de nous éduquer
Mam I have a doubt.... Installer is a refléxive verb right so in this sentence why they haven't adden s'
👉Ils étaient installés au Québec au XIXe siècle ?? Pls clear my doubt ma'am....
Hello ma’am, great video….In the 3rd part of exercises shouldn’t there be an (e) in preparé because it’s conjugated with elle?
Yes lol
Ma'am i m confuse that when to use passé compose and when to use Imparfait with plus que parfait?? Please kindly tell me
I had this same argument with myself this week, i guess i found the answer. Have you find yours?
i thin that first use passe compose then imperfait and also use it after afin que, moins que etc.
what was the answer to the last question?
Mam is etudier pronominal verb?
Because it is conjugated with etre but not in Dr mrs vandertramp list
Thé plus que parfait indicates a past action that happened before another past action started.
