    The last scene of the movie at the pier was just wonderful. Sort of sums up what a long term relationship means. Most romance movies do not look at the reality straight in the face and talk about it in the way this movie does. Personally that is the reason why I like this one better than the previous two movies, which are also great movies.

    Joyce's Ulysses is written about a single day. Christopher Isherwood's A Single Man is about a single day. Some of the best books in the history of literature are about these fragments of time.

    I was expecting them to be sitting round a fire with brandy like Desmond Carrington fashion at the Kpad.
