In that first game, instead of digging for a second Cauldron to exile Hellkite, you could have simply Connived to 31 Power, and used Surge Construct's Ability 1 to gain "Can't be Blocked" and swung for lethal
Also pinging Obliterator Rona with the Hellkite effect is free cards, since she'll activate on anyone's damage, not just from opponents
Crim not using surge engines "can't be blocked" active until literally the last game was KILLING me.
@@revenantbacon3937 To be somewhat fair to him, he netdecked it and was learning on the fly, he probably hadn't twigged that Can't Be Blocked was meant as a lethality opener because he zeroed in on the more costly actives it had
To be unfair, neither of those abilities are notable in an infinite power engine, like woo set your base stats wooo

Deck is busted. As a combo player, it's beautiful to see something so streamlined. As someone who hates playing solitaire, too much work for my gyri-riddled brain.

I don't get it, that sounds like a really bad combo. What do you have in mind exactly?

Then when one of them dies, each of your creatures gets all the Abilities.
While Virtue of Loyalty does untap all your creatures, and puts +1/+1 counters on them.
Like if each if your creatures would have Skrelv's Ability, you could give one of your creatures very toxic
Okay I am very confused, can someone maybe bring some clarity?
At 18:30 he had an Omen Hawker that can tap for 2 mana, he can untap for 1 mana with the sleep cursed fay (since he has training grounds) and he has the dragon exiled so he can ping damage. Why doesn't he just win on the spot? All interaction is also instant speed so a cut down couldn't stop him, he could just play the win in reaction and generate more mana and ping more damage. How did he loose?
There must be something I overlook, right?
I was thinking this exact thing and was looking for anybody else in the comments who could explain it. Knowing Crim he probably just didn't realize he could win.
The Omen Hawker had summoning sickness since it was just played that turn, so he couldn’t generate infinite mana.
Seeing Niuttuc realize he has to edit Crim like Seth now was something really special.

My god, that first game was absolutely torturous to watch. Edit: the second game was only midly better. Krim over here with a potentially unblockable Rona but doesn't realise he can make her unblockable.

it wont be banned. its win rate isnt near high enough. it was made to have many variations so what is happening is fine. it isnt dominating anything.

It's his "thing" and usually I am pretty meh about it, but the prickish way he finished the game at 13:57 was a new level of childishly lame.
yeah it's incredibly cringe, just finish the game they were respectful enough to let you play it out and do the cool stuff be respectful enough to just end it
