God bless you so much D'elect .Amazing and very powerful playing there boss, but please I wished you do a break down again because ,some of us watching here were not seeing the chords u were playing, those behind you saw all you played but bcs the chord were not displayed on the screen for us we did see them so pls I would be grateful u do it and the chords on the screens for me.thank u very much
Its easy to approach this is you know how to play all keys and know various chords in those keys you can play them as passing chords when moving around..
I don't know why I pity everyone with camera's. Dem go try am for house tire. Don't they know that there are serious theories to this things. First things first, if u no Sabi all keys well, I just pity u Second things second, if you no Sabi borrow chords and scales from other keys that have the same frequency with the key u are on (chromatic mediants and tritones), chai!!!! U don jam Dangote Trailer. 🙆♂️ Third things third, if you don't know the theory of creating tensions and resolving it, ehn, my brother, chai 🙆♂️🙆♂️. In addition, Mi dom13, reh dim9, fi min9, zi Maj 11. These are hidden secrets in those things that we don't want people to know Because, we suffered seriously on it, mehn. Money, sweat, or lemme end it there, mehn.
You actually said the truth. Onething I learnt over the years is this, every musician will reason differently and especially when you are now advanced... It's okay to pick cameras and video in order to try one or two things out but if you have built enough chord vocabulary through series of past rehearsals your ears and muscle memory will help you without even struggling much. This particular piece "to God be the Glory" was being dissected by Jason White over a decade now I hear similar voicings in this video, what made D'elect deliver very well is he has paid the price in the past hence he flipped it his way while maintaining the foundation which will always ring out as that's our root or where we grew up from. That's why this tutorial is top notch. Sadly musicians nowadays ain't ready to pay the price.

Sure. These are previous teachings, not recents
Why do Nigerians explain chords with tonic solfa and Americans use the number system and other chord names?
Why are all those ppl hogging around him?....very distracting!!!
Except his too fast in teaching we have a lot to learn with him
As far as am concerned this guys around have learnt nothing.
