The ambiance in these are the only way i can concentrate or sleep these days. Separated from my partner back in November. 8 years we were together, we had a daughter, an apt, a life, and just like that it was over. she moved on quick and I have had raise my girl more or less alone with the help of friends and family. By January my little girl and i had a new life, new apt, new accounts, etc. on paper things are going well. My daughter likes to be with me and only me and her mother has distanced herself because of this. Everyone says to be over her, “ she abandoned her kid, what mother does that? “ It is true. But I still miss her, the good times we all had as a family, and the companionship. Doing this all alone as a Single father is fulfilling, but so damn hard. When the night sets in, the house is quiet it’s nothing but thoughts about what could have been. When the morning comes by, it’s just thoughts of “here we go again, how am i going to make it through today”. I sincerely hope no one ever has to go through this hell. To those that are going through similar times, there is no way to avoid the darkness. You have to push through it to get to the other side, and there is not time frame on when that will happen.

My brother and I were raised by a single father, so I understand how you feel. It's okay to yearn for your past, but live in the present and the future. And please don't forget about yourself. I see how my father lost himself while raising us. And it hurts me. Strength to you. I'm sure you'll be a good father 😊
The pain will always lurk in your heart but think of it as a button and there's a ball bouncing around your heart and head - that button is HUGE right now, ASTRONOMICAL, and that ball keeps hammering it as you go through your days and nights...but I promise time shrinks the button and though the ball stays the same and the feels when the button gets hit will still register as deeply, stay the course because the only thing that shrinks that button is time. The ball will hit less often, you'll gain more headspace, heart-space and it will carve the hell out of your emotional intelligence growth. All isn't lost even though it is right now. I believe in you.

I finally put myself out there and still feel like im not seen.
Im trying online dating, me and this girl really hit it off and i offered to take her on a date. She accepted we just had to find time when both of us were free witch would've been next month. Yesterday i was told shes now in a relationship. All i said was good for her and hope its a long healthy relationship.

Past that I work with people that are 40, I'm 18. What other hobbies would you suggest I'm down to learn anything to fill up my schedule
@@AvianOrchid01 How about take a walk, and try to remember a license plate number, then see if you remember it later. If you forget check again and do it til you seriously remember. Then you may be able to throw in something like a color after the plate, an animal, ect. It really does something to your brains capability to remember and process information

@@karlhungus5554 Ahh I see, I once was in the similar phase but moved on and decided I can't do anything with the half empty glass (except for filling it) but can do a lot with the half filled glass. But yes there is something about feeling empty that is fascinating and comforting for some reason, that's why I love listening to these.
