When I export data from excel sheet into spss data view, it shows 0 (zeros) despite the fact that i have coded it correctly in the variable view. Can you please tell me what could be the possible reason of this error?

I don't know really, but you can code the data manually by copying and pasting rather than importing it. Maybe, the error may be resolved using that approach.

Thank you for the question, I think your question is about conducting a multiple regression analysis, and how you can do that after coding your Likert dataset. If this is correct, the next thing you need to do is to sum up the items that made up each variables in your study, and then go on to conduct a multiple regression.

2 point not like yes/no, its 7 point Likert scale but with only 2 options like this: 1= Strongly Disagree, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7=Strongly Agree
